Nautical Port Stari Grad - Faros

One of the most charming towns I've ever visited. Boats/ships from many nationalities anchor here. Take time to tour the small town with its narrow streets and beautiful view of the mountains (south).

This was relatively small nautical harbor and several years ago it was extended on the both sides of the beautiful Stari grad bay and it is very nice sight to be seen in the summer when it is full of boats and people especially during some of fantastic sunsets. In the evening it is so full of boats of all kinds and very lively indeed. And not all are paying for mooring so there are always boats in the middle of bay. As it is very deep bay sometimes water is very high.

Small pretty quiet city. 1km away the center you can find your own bay only for yourself.
There is no garbage-souvenire shops in the center. You must try lavender icecream!

Very good service, clean toilets, near old town and shops.

Water, electricity, showers, supermarket, restaurants and mostly easy going atmosphere.

Nice place, good service, reasonable prices.

We only stopped for loading few cases of wine brought by Tomić winery from Jelsa. Convenient, allows a lunch in the city. We otherwise stay at Uvala tiha handled by Bajo, the singing and the most friendky port master.

Beautiful harbor with a rich offer for when docked...

What a delightful little town. Great restaurants, cute touristy shops and a really nice walkway along the water. If you have a dinghy or care there are several great swim areas just before you enter the town by water. Highly recommend a refreshing swim in the beautiful waters.

It costs about 60euro for 38ft boat. You'd rather park your boat on the right side. Because there is showers and toilets... There is more then 1 km by walk to the shower from the left side.

Great place with always helpful staff. Niksa is very professional making your stay cosy. For Easter we were only boat moored there.

Very nice harbor and town. We chose to go to this authentic place rather than to Hvar and we are pleased with our decision.
