Nice walk up to the Grand Peak at the top of the hill. Only about 20mins up and you can continue along Girometta’s Trail to the old churches, fire tower or visit the aquarium. Cheap and easy day out if you like walking. We went down the trail to Kasjuni Bay and had a nice swim at the beach.

Beautiful that can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. There are flat paved trails or more mountainous trails that will make you work. There is a zoo on the top with a porta potty outside. The park has a lot of cool plant species like native orchids and wild sage. You can identify them with an app like Seek.

Beautiful, very relaxing place with gorgeous views of Adriatic sea. Excellent for a hike, walk or bike ride. Air from the pine trees is absolutely pure.
It felt so great to go for a swim after hiking.

What a stunning place to visit in Split. The park is beautiful to hike across from the old town of Split to the top. We hiked down to the beach and boy it was stunning! There’s a lot of greenery and the view of the town from the top is absolutely amazing. If you have more than 2 days in Split, please consider putting this spot to your bucket list.

It is quite a climb especially in the heat. We went as far as the first summit which included 340 steps at that point!!. The wildlife and plants are amazing and of course the views. Only disappointment was the restaurant cafe on the way back where tables were reserved or taken so the my thirst could not be quenched, shame after all the walking and heat.

Very nice park - great for running - though expect hills!

First and foremost this is a huge park, easily larger than the whole of old town, with plenty of room to spare. There are several very large footpaths that lead mostly around the Marjan Hill after which the park is named. Several beaches can be accessed from the park, best ones being located on the southern side. There are also some ancient churches along the footpaths as well as great vistas, a museum and a small zoo. Recommended.

Fantastic park worth visiting whilst in split. Lots of lovely spots to go swimming. I would highly recommend hiring a bike and cycling around. The views are so incredible.

a huge park where you can see churches, many viewing platforms and other sights that I have not visited;) the terrain is quite difficult in places, you should have suitable shoes. We parked our car near the beach, in August it can be a tricky part.

The views of the sea and Split are beautiful, so I advise you to visit.

This park is stunning, from the climb at the beginning to view from the very top its is beautiful. It can be quite a tough climb at times (really depending on your level of fitness) but it is genuinely worth it.
I would have loved to have walked the entire length but we had a lot to pack into the few days we had.
Maybe next time...

A verdant and welcome excursion from old town. The 8km loop trail is scenic and peaceful but the real beauty lies inside. The interior trails offer shade and viewing points which make them worth the effort.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful views abound. It is just such a wonderful place to spend some time walking around and resting taking in the various views around the park. There are so many vistas to experience. If we return to Split, this will be our number one thing to see again.

Great views and some welcome shade we only saw a small part of this vast park because of time but definitely worth the climb

A must see place. The view from the top was amazing.
Recommend bringing A LOT of water with you, specially if you plan on visiting during the peak heat hours of the day.

Nice park if you fancy going for a long hike with stops for taking a dive or for drinks n snacks. Do not forget to bring adequate shoes. We found sea urchins and lots of slippery rocks on the beach

We walk by the sea coast and enter mini street to see around. The way is steep and we find the park sign. We keep on walking and find this fantastic view. The signature orange roof, nice tree, and blue Adriatic sea. Very good.😀😀

A great little walk with some fantastic views of the area, very well signposted and easy to navigate, plenty of stops to fill up waterbottles which was very much needed on such a hot day, well worth a visit and wonder and explore!

Beautiful stunning beach. Every picture there could go in a calender seriously. Nude beach section at the end for those who want it. Only negative is that the beach bars were quite overpriced, even by tourist area standards. But you can always bring your own!

One of my favorite spots in Split; for a short hike with my dog, for enjoying coffee with the view of the city, for meditating. Great for dog lovers and families with kids.
