Bacvice Beach

Very calm waters with good for swimming temperature in June. Good enough ice cream, rocky entrance by the side and sandy when you go in, clean water, enough places to buy a drink or have a sunbath, not overcrowded. Even has some jumping spots and pillars in the water.

Outstanding! If you are lucky enough to enjoy this secluded gem then you are already aware! Clean clear water, refreshing beverages available at the seaside bar. Get there early in the evening as it will fill up before 4:pm.

Amazing little spot to visit while on the "go sail Croatia". Beautiful clear water with no sharks very relaxing. The water temp around this time is 27-28 degrees. Cheap gellato shop just down the road and cheap drinks. Lots of families and locals enjoying the weather. It's a national park with bike hire to ride around a very picturesque lake. Around 1.5 hours return.

Nice calm beach with a lot of restaurants and bars around. We were there in mild weather at the beginning of April, so it wasn’t very crowded. We had a nice walk around and simply dipped our feet in the water.

We stopped here for a few hours while on our trip. The girls enjoyed walking the beach and getting out of the car. It was very scenic and nice. The water was pristine and no hassles were to be found.

Great beach, sandy, very low water level for a long time, you can use side beaches for swimming/gerting into deep waters quickly.

Nice beach, its pronounced as Bachvita that means Barrels in English. Water is shallow and not that wavy so it is quite safe for kids. Showers and changing area right at the beach. Best and main city of Split sandy beach.
Night gathering of young tourists. Not commendable. A lot of garbage, broken glass and conflicts place for tourist

This is one of the best beaches in the world. Fine sand, clear clean water and shallow. Perfect for families and sun lovers. Lined with beach bars and restaurants. Public beach with no sun lounger or umbrella. We brought padded mats to avoid laying directly on the sand.

Nice beach. Very proximal to the old town. Clean water...lots of dried seaweed on shore so be mindful. Year round swimming. Sandy and pebble beech also ladders to access deeper portions of water feom the walkways. Lots of cafes nearby. Towel hangers, public shower at no cost and ample free seating during the off season. Great view and calm waters. Nice place to go for a stroll, watch the sunset or to sit and people watch.

We came in October with 2 kids and really enjoyed it. Sandy beach with shallow waters for paddling / swimming. Public toilets too. Hard to find shade was the only downside. But worth it

Beautiful beach with nice restaurant options. We stayed in Airbnb right on the beach felt very safe. Beach was very clean lined with restaurants with great food and drink options. You can see beautiful sunset. Nice place to just chill and take swim. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed vacation on the beach.

Very nice beach with shallow, clear waters. My only slight issue is that it can get crowded and there isn't much space, but there are a few monkey bars and swings for kids too, so it is very kid friendly!

Pretty little beach. Clean, i didnt see rubbish everywhere, was actually quite hard to see any.
The water is very shallow, you see many people practicing sports there. And some of them just enjoying the view.

Always suprises visitors to its little charm of a City Beach... never stands still.....an individual outbursts of activities ranging from volleyball to any season dip in the sea.

Beautiful beach with clear water and the occasional school of fish. There are cold showers along the concrete section (on the western side) as well as some 'changerooms' (a very small area screened off for privacy) and exercise bars. It can get very busy so be prepared for crowds.

The sandy beach is more like a huge bath! Very little waves and plenty of ladders to the water away from the beach! It's so sandy and enjoyable even for adults ☺ there's also a few fish to see 😍 (photos don't have beach in them just the more Bath like side)

By far the best beach for a swim. While it is a sand beach, the swimming area is very large and hence my preference. Visited 3 beaches but swam only here.

A more local beach with less tourists. It is really shallow, so it is perfect for a morning walk or a night walk. The water is clear and cold 😊

One of the best public beaches I've been to.
Best in the morning.
No shadow, so be aware of it in summer.
Even at weekend not very crowded
