My spouse, my friends, and I were recommended to eat at this restaurant from out Bolt driver when we got to old Town Split. It's a 20 minute walk and it's out of the way, but keeps it quiet and not crowded.

We were welcomed by great customer service from Andrea Ziko. He made our stay memorable, with great recommendations, and went out of his way to make it a great stay. Pimpinella should realize they've got a great host.

We ordered some local dishes, all that were fresh, hot, and so tasty. Andrea also brought us oil and bread for an appetizer, that was also delicious. The beer and food were relatively priced and well worth it too. The portion sizes are relative as well.

The restaurant has a rustic look and was very welcoming. There's a few seating areas outside and super spacious as well. Overall, definitely recommend this restaurant, especially to travelers. Very well done.

On the way from the airport to Split the cab driver advised us this restaurant. The food was amazing. The waiter was friendly and helped us with the menu. The dishes we ordered where very good. You can sit outside and you can park near the restaurant.

For a Swedish family we immediately felt that we found something genuine. We got the tip from a local taxidriver. Very tasty food and nice service. Prices were on spot, we had the night before paid 110kn for a cheese hamburger with fries ( it's ok but meh) and here you get black pasta with shells and shrimps cooked with love for 85kn. Dinner for three people ended at roughly 400kn. Great place and prices to match!

I rarely give 5 stars unless everything truly went well. This time it is well deserved. Food was really delicious and service very friendly and helpful. It was 3 course dinner for four people we had and all dishes were spot on. And the prices were fine plus credit card accepted. Really cozy place.

We had a lovely meal here. Fantastic, well cooked food and choices (it is a big menu) for the whole family. Was initially put off by some of the reviews about the service. Don't be. Could not be further from our experience. All the staff were warm, helpful and lovely. Really lovely time and an absolute gem.

Everything we tried was amazing!

Local food, excellent hospitality. We went to this place as we were staying nearby. The waiter was fantastic and made great recommendations as well as customizing a dish for me. Prices were reasonable and the fish was very fresh.

Shrimp cream soup is amazing
Seafood rice and spaghetti are also incredible 🥰

Scampi soup is the best soup I’ve had in my entire life. Everything else was also stunning and delicious but I’m never gonna forget that soup.

Really good food here. Seafood pasta was to die for. Homemade meal at a great price. I highly recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists alike. A secret Gem in Split.

We bought a Mixed grilled meat plate for 4. Good variety, great food. Would defenetly recoment to Check it Out!

Don't come too late because the fish will be sold out. Nice service and good dish.
It can be a bit hard to find. The restaurant is located in a small road.

You feel like you're in your grandma's kitchen. Seafood is excellent, fresh, and full of taste. The staff is quick and very decent. This is not a posh place at all, but if you want real domestic experience, this is the right place to be!

Was there 4 times and tried 4 different meals and each was excellent. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. On the picture you see Girice.

Fabulous grilled meats, great veg. decent carafe of red wine for about £10, what more could a girl want. Oh yes, pleasant service, an outside table and a decent "cheeky" beer whilst looking at the menu. We came back and it was just as great.

The best meal we had in Split. The food (and we are a lot) was all very good and fresh. Waiter was beyond accommodating and very friendly. Great value, great service and authentic Croatian environment.

Got this recommended from a local! Cheap, big and delicious portions. Fast and friendly service. Probably the best local spot in Split!!! House wine is 13€, and 10-14€/dish…
