Great little zoo, worth the hike! Some cute animals to see, not a huge amount to see. Cheap to get into. A small rest area consisting of 2 vending machines and the cold drinks were a real treat on a hot day. Can buy bags of food for the animals too so great to bring kids. A cute playground outside too is great

cute and small zoo with common animals. there are ponys, tortoises, donkeys and more, nothing exotic or fancy!

entrance is very cheap (3€ for adults, 1,50€ for kids between 7-14) you can buy a bah of salad for 1,50€ for feeding the animals.

staff is really nice and you‘ll notice that they really care about the animals. Very pretty view and there are two vending machines for snacks and drinks and coffee.

if you want to visit, be prepared for a steep walk up or just drive. i highly recommend this zoo for familys or couples, especially those on a budget!

Probably the best fiver we spent all day in Split. We were the only ones walking around for a while, and enjoyed feeding the animals. All the animals were very hungry but I expect they always are as they reacted the same when we noticed other customers later on… great hour or so spent and the staff appeared friendly. Few empty cages but the animals appeared cared for albeit may well be happier in different, larger surroundings where they could roam better.

Pleasantly surprised at this cute little zoo. We really enjoyed feeding the animals! At these prices it would be silly not to listen to the sheep baaaaaa 🐑 Plus look at this handsome fella ready to steal yo girl🐐

Highlight of our holiday!!!
Beautiful animals, definitely recommend visiting! Super cheap to get into and food is very reasonably priced. We brought 7 bags between 2 of us and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Animals are cared for as best they can. Please visit and support this small attraction! 🙏🏻

Stumbled upon this place whilst trekking up Marjan hill and almost didn't go inside. So glad we did. In this small petting zoo you get to hand feed goat, donkey, cow, sheep, rabbit etc, which was a lot of fun. Staff here were very friendly and welcoming and the stop was a nice break from the hill climb. Would recommend investing an hour here 🐴

I had expected from the reviews to find emaciated dying animals but they seem well cared for and happy. I liked the explanations of donkey-horse differences

Despite what others wrote, we thought we would take our little boy and we weren't disappointed, the animals were really well looked after, the workers were beautiful and so caring. They were so enthusiastic, showing us around. The fresh fruit and veg was fab for just 1.50 euro per bag. We hand fed and held the tortoises. 3 euros entry is cheap as chips.

It is hard to find though but persevere, it's next to the little park at the top before the cross.

Pleasant little set-up with donkeys, chickens, goats, tortoises, turkeys - all that you can feed with a bag of food you can buy. Cheap admission and really lovely staff who clearly look after their animals v well. Clean WC, a shaded area for a picnic and perfect for little children (we took our 18mth old and 3yr old who loved it). Well worth a visit :)

When arriving we were just short of money for two tickets but they let us in anyway and gave us a free bag of food for the animals. The animals were so well looked after and you could pretty much feed and pet them all! There were donkeys, goats, chickens, rabbits, cows, sheep and my personal favourite the tortoise enclosure where you could go in with them, super cute! Staff were lovely would definitely recommend!

A nice adventure close to the city but far away enough to let your inner peace thrive and enjoy the day. The Zoo was not very crowded and the prices were low for a sight into the animals domestic to the region, a true must see in the tour of Split and it is a shame id doesn't get the credit it deserves

At £1 the zoo was very good value for money, despite the slow decay of the animals bodies and souls.
