Marjan Park - Sjever

Lovely park for a walk with a choice of tarmac paths and rocky dirt tracks. There are also various spots to take a swim with benches and showers available.

Right after Diocletian’s Palace and the old town, Marjan Park is my favorite part about Split!!! If you’re a nature lover, rent a bike, pack your swimming gear and head out here for the day! I biked through the port promenade, along the coastal street of Marjan and stopped at a few places for a refreshing dip in the crystal clear Adriatic. Not many tourists venture out here, which makes it even better!! I biked (99kn for full day, at time of this post) up to the very top (you can also walk) and was rewarded with breathtaking views of the sea, nearby islands, and locals’ quaint land, reminiscent of Tuscany. There are a few spots to stop in and eat, but pack a sandwich and some bottled water! It’s more fun!

This is a great place in Split to get away from the city as you have a combination of forest and sea, running trail, bike trail and it isn't that crowded. There are no wild animals, it is safe and also, there are many nice beaches near the walking path you can explore. If you are into nature and sports - Marjan is a place to go! 😊

We went there every day during our 1 month stay in Split.

Beautiful views! 309 steps to get to the top! I started walking at 6.30pm In order to watch the sunset at 7pm.

The park is a quiet and beautiful place to relax. You can take plenty of ways, some easier and bigger and others small and steeper. Most of the time you get a nice view of the park, the sea or Split it self.
In conclusion it's a nice place to stay and spend a couple of hours. One relaxed way around will take you approximately 3 hours.

One of our favorite places in Split! Beautiful ride along the coast under the pine trees with not so much car traffic. We rented Next Bike to come here. On the North Side is the Park there are many opportunities for swimming in secluded places. Worth a visit!

Great place to spend time during hot summer days. Relatively clean sea for swimming, natural shadow, great for walking, running, riding a bike, sleeping near the sea.

Unbelievable view. Scenic walkways and rent a bike on the entrance. Great views of both the harbour and the mountains surrounding the surreal landscape that is Split.

It's a great place where you can go for swim or tou can go for a run or just go for a walk on a nice sunny day and enjoy the nature :) the best time of year is summer :)

This is, has been and always will be my favourite place in the world. The sea, the nature, the fresh air... what's more to want?!
