This place is cool! Though they no longer are a restaurant, they are offering Garifuna culture through cooking classes and dance and drum classes. It was so fun!

Did the cooking class with Sabrina and made a very delicious tapada (fish soup). Really enjoyed shredding the coconuts and making fresh coconut milk!

The cooking class was a lot of fun and was made even better with the drumming and dancing afterwards. Highly recommended.

Wunderbarer Kochkurs um die Garifuna Küche zu erlernen. Tolle Gastgeber, gute Gespräche und leckeres Essen. Und der Fisch wird am gleichen Tag frisch auf am Hafen geholt. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Wir haben einen Kochkurs nach Garifuna-Art gebucht und hatten ein sehr lehrreiches, kulinarisches und sympathisches Erlebnis. Wir empfehlen umbedingt!

About Livingston
Town in Guatemala

Livingston is a town, with a population of 17,923, in Izabal Department, eastern Guatemala, at the mouth of the Río Dulce at the Gulf of Honduras. The town serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. It was Guatemala's main port on the Caribbean Sea before the construction of nearby Puerto Barrios.
