Churrascon Tejano

Friendly service and good food. The location is more like in the 'local' side. Much affordable priced than lake-side establishments. During our lunch, tortillas were made on premise. Out of the oven freshly and steamy hot. Served right away. So good! It said crypto is accepted, but I didn't use it.

We decided to stop by here based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. They make the food fresh when you order it. We also saw the ladies making fresh tortillas in front of us. We got the beef and the pork “adobado” and it was SO GOOD!!

The hubs and I are still relatively full from our lunch. And so, we missed some street vendor food by 20:00. We scurried over to this place as it was recommended by our hostel that this place serves good and authentic Guatemalan local meals.
We arrived by 20:05 and thank goodness they are still open. Also thank goodness the owner happen to know some English. We asked a few questions and place a takeout order for carne/pollo combo (Q35) at 20:06. The order was packaged and ready by 20:14.
It looks like we're the only non-local ordering while we were there. There is a dining hall for those who wants to dine-in and watch TV.
The food is packed very nicely. There's enough tasty meat for both of us. Overall, very happy with our food choices.

I ate at local restaurants and street food vendors all over Guatemala during my time there. But here is where I ate my favorite Adobado. I came back twice the week I tried it!

A lovely family run restaurant away from the regular tourist tracks.

Delicious, flavorful, generous portions. A treasure, don’t expect gringos here. Me encanta!

그냥 아무생각 없이 왔다가 너무 맛있어서 고기 한점 한점 일부러 아껴먹었어요
파도 같이 구워주시는데 너무 맛있고 같이주는 과카몰레랑 콩소스도 진짜 맛있어요
토르띠야도 바로 옆에서 만들어서 구워주시는데 너무 맛있게 한끼 잘 해결했습니다
리뷰 거의 안 써봤는데 손님이 저밖에 없어서 한번 남겨봐요!

그야말로 로컬맛집이네요. 호숫가 식당보다 훨 저렴하고 고기도 맛있으며 또르띠야도 즉석에서 구워주어서 따끈하고 부드럽네요.
