Hotel Utz-Jay

Just checked out this low key clean hotel with a beautiful garden. My room was #7 on the first floor with 2 chairs with a small table and a rocking chair on the porch. Inside the room was a queen bed with a comfortable mattress, small table, chair, bookcase with a TV that I never used. The bathroom was just right and clean. The customer service was excellent, and the location of the hotel was right off the main street, which allowed for a quiet stay. I would definitely stay again.

The staff were really friendly despite my bad Spanish ability! The room was very clean and the gardens were beautiful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend :) close distance to the town and lake too!

Best small hotel with personality as well as comfort and hominess along with complete spa facilities! and a reasonably priced restaurant on a hard-to-find-quiet-street in Panajachel.
Meaning the quiet not the street. The location is excellent it's a long block to either of the main streets and another long one to the water. Three long blocks to lanchas which go to the main villages 8n the lake every half hour or so. Priced well.

We made a mistake with our reservation (accidentally reserved for the same day instead for the next one). The staff was extremely helpful and helped us move it to the day we actually needed it without any extra fees or issues.
The rooms were fairly simple but with some lovely details, and quite clean. The garden area in which all the rooms are is quite beautiful and was a pleasant surprise.

The Hotel Utz-Jay was wonderful. The grounds were not only clean but had a great tropical garden throughout. They have a restaurant on site that serves good food. The rooms were spacious and had a private bathrooms(with hot water). We rented 3 single rooms. ( paid a total of about $75 US for all 3 rooms!!) Each had a queen and a twin bed and were nicely furnished with local flavor. They have a private enclosed jacuzzi for rent, and also had two massage tables on site. There is parking if needed and only about 100 meters from the main strip in town.

This is a gorgeous little gem in Panajachel. The room was spacious (though this varies) and spotless. The courtyard garden is lovely and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious! They are extremely accommodating with check in, locking up luggage, etc, and very reasonably priced. They offer some tours and other amenities. We will come here again on our next visit to Lake Atitlán.

Excellent place to stay in Panajaquel.
Beautiful lush courtyard and many amenities including a restaurant and spa services. Very well located on a quiet side street close to the main market street. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Beautiful hotel! My family loved this! The breakfast wasn't good but the coffee was amazing! Definitely I recommend this place if you want a quiet hotel to get a rest!

A beautiful place with lovely decorations. Cozy rooms and super nice staff, available at any hour. Good prices and really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and night life.

Clean, spacious rooms with a very friendly staff. A couple of blocks away from the lakeshore and half a block away from the main road.

The places is super close to the lake! Like 5 min walking! The places was very clean and the staff was very nice!

Quiet, clean comfortable rooms. Loved sitting on the porch with a drink in the evenings.

I love the garden, rooms are clean and stagff is very helpful and friendly. Next time in Pana I'll be back.
