Beautiful trails and surroundings. The butterfly dome was captivating. Hundreds of beautiful butterflies flying all around you. My wife and I went on a short hike that included three suspension bridges...nice little adventure. We also grabbed a bite to eat. Food was good and inexpensive.

We spent about 2.5 hours exploring the area. Saw some spider monkeys and hanging bridges were a cool experience. We paid a lot more for hanging bridges in other parts of Central America and this experience was almost the same. Spent a lot of time in the butterfly exhibit ( to add some seating in there would be nice) definitely recommend

A really cool place to walk around, see the lake, and visit the butterfly habitat. It does require some hiking at elevation. We should have brought snacks to the lake visit because it's a decent trek down and up.

Wonderful place to spend a few hours. The beach hike is not toddler friendly (the hanging bridges can be tricky). Walking to the Coati and monkeys was easy abs a delight. Butterfly garden was also beautiful.

Beautiful park, with monkeys and coatis, if you are patient and go early morning you can see them eating. About 80Q persons the entrance , also access to the butterfly garden, and nice trail about 20 minutes walk to the Atitlan lake, through suspension bridges that was really fun.The water falls seems beautiful, but we went in the dry season so wasn't much of water coming down. Also has a restaurant and bathroom in the main entrance. Take a tuck tuck from the town since is a bit of a walk maybe 1h from the center if you walk and are well fit. We did not do the zipline because of the few accidents recently, so we got afraid of it.Definitely recommend the visit.

The monkeys were adorable! The water fountain is not massive but still cute. The papusas! Yum! Highly recommend
And make sure you walk to the beach- it’s so pretty and a great swimming bread

a wonderful place in the middle of a tropical forest. A beautiful butterfly garden, many walking paths, hanging bridges, a waterfall, many places where you can enjoy pure nature in silence.

Beautiful place with a fantastic natural trail walk. Includes several suspension bridges, monkeys and coetls, a waterfall, and a butterfly sanctuary. Our boys (20,17, 17) loved the ziplines. Food was tasty!

I saw Spider Monkeys, all kinds of butterflies, few different birds and coatis. Trail is beautiful and lush. Entrance fee was 80Q

"Ziplining here was an exhilarating experience! The views were breathtaking, and the rush of adrenaline was unforgettable. However, if you're planning to come with a group, be aware that they seem to have difficulty handling larger parties. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and would love to come back again soon!"

I didn't lodge here, but did a brief hike through the trails. Was lucky enough to see some monkeys. The kids had a blast in the butterfly house.

It was a beautiful nature hike and we also did the zip lining, which was so fun! Our guides were so kind and knowledgeable about their jobs, I trusted them completely. The view is phenomenal when zip lining!

We took the short zip line, but what they don’t tell you is how many steps you have to walk up just to get there and how high but once you get there, the view is absolutely beautiful

Visited the nature reserve and spent about 3 hours here. We did the waterfall walk where we got to see the monkeys and coati and even got lucky and got to see them during feeding time. Beautiful waterfall and fun hanging bridges. We also did the walk to the lake area which was so serene and private. We also did the butterfly garden which was beautiful!! All included in the entrance fee. Definitely visit if you are in Panajachel.

I visited for the hiking and did not stay there overnight. The whole area is lovely, and it was heartwarming to see the rescued monkeys enjoying their life at the reserve.

This nature preserve is awesome! Very quiet. Trails were really nice. The hanging bridges were so cool and felt very safe. Only thing is that they could have maybe had more signs as to which trail led to where. I tried to do the long trail, not sure if I actually completed it or not as the signs weren't very clear which trail was what. I saw a coati, but no monkeys. Walked to the beach which was quaint and had some nice benches. Waterfalls were gorgeous. A great place to explore!

I stayed in the Mariposario Reserva. It was the most wonderful experience!!! I love the morning walks to the waterfall and see the butterflies, humming birds and pizotes during my walks. In the afternoon I sat on the balcony to enjoy the rain drinking a cup of local hot chocolate.
