Grand Star Hotel

It was my first time to visit Africa and my shuttle service was great from the airport ! I was so amazed by the Manger and how accommodating everyone was ,wifi was great hot water cable flat screen TV, breakfast was great every morning, the hotel was absolute gem ,the pool was great well kept ,lovey art through out , exceptional service, and the warm welcoming staff made my stay feel like a true home away from home. I can't say enough about the comfort and hospitality I experienced here. Thank you for making my visit so memorable. Can't wait to return 🥰 5 ⭐

Services and facility is perfect, but the location is quite hard to access. Road network is bad.

I love this hotel. Very reasonable price. The staff treat me like a king! Room is very clean! The bar open till midnight! Perfect for me. Emmanuel, the lifeguard.. Portia the bartender/ server... Benjamin the chef.... The housekeepers.... Jane and Comfort, the laundry girls.... This whole team here is awesome. They treat everybody that stays here like a king and a queen. I will always recommend Grand Star.. It's because of great leadership. I know a good hotel when I see one

Grand star hotel is the best place to have your vacation.
Despite their Road is bad ,everyone there is lovely .

Rooms are perfect, I sometimes imagine if they are trained before they are employed

With a traditional touch it’s a comfortable and peaceful place away from Downtown hassle, very polite and cooperative staff and at a very very reasonable cost. But the approach roads needs full maintenance and asphalt carpeting

The rooms were clean, the staff was exceptional, they are friendly, and hospitable I loved my stay, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, if you have been dreaming of an Africa trip and you want some where affordable and nice to stay then please try Grand star Hotel they have delicious food a wonderful swimming pool and awesome staff even security here is so awesome and helpful, you can take an Uber to Grand Star. The road gets a bit bumpy once you are close but don’t let that scare you, the drivers in Ghana know the way around if they want to take it and they never complain. The people of the town around Grand Star are so helpful and loving kind people, take normal precautions with high end cell phones , cameras , cash just as you would in any foreign country. if you are from America or UK leave a tip for the room cleaners and wait staff just as you would back home.

Their services are incredible… they will warm left over food for you for free… and bring it well arranged in a different plate. Their just the best.

Thank you!!! The reception staff was so comprehensively AND helpfully when I was confronted to a blocked credit card. They did all their possible to reassure me and give me all the needed help. On top of that they trusted us and gave us their best of service during our stay. Now about the hotel itself: it is very professional as a hotel is supposed to be! Clean rooms, cleans sheets, clean towels, soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers. Everything was available! The hotel is calm since it is situated away from main roads. The breakfast and roomservice were nice and well presented, fresh and you were able to customise. Definately I will come back and enjoy the pool this time. You guys are an example for many other hotels in Accra and far beyond! See you soon!

Though away from the bustle of town Grand Star Hotel is a luxurious place to be. Clean rooms. Warm and polite staff. Great food. I can't wait to visit again ❤

I love this place. The decor is simply beautiful with lovely art pieces 😍. The staff were super friendly. The hotel has a gym, swimming pool,conference room and a restaurant. The rooms are affordable with complimentary breakfast and WiFi that works. Only bad thing is it’s located in a remote area and the road is super bad so prepare for a bumpy ride.

Initially booked the hotel for a wedding due to proximity but extended the stay. Though not a fan of pools and gymns, the room, food service and the cool atmosphere were just everything for one desiring some good rest

Excellent service, staff friendly and welcoming, room was clean, vegan food especially prepared for us, the hotel looks great too. WiFi was available and working. Other hotels had stated that they had free WiFi but on asking theirs weren't working. It was clear the hotel is being constantly maintained.

It's a nice place. A serene environment a little out of town. Services are good. Haven't tried the pool yet, but can't wait to get in.
Love everything about it

It was a nice experience to be in Ghana for vacation, lodging in Grand Star Hotel,Haasto, Accra, There I visited several places of interest like the University of Ghana, Legon, City Mall, Academic City University, and other places of interest. I also met very nice and honest People of Ghana and Nationals of other countries. May they all be richly blessed the more.

I spent my first Christmas/New Year holiday in Ghana in 2018 at the Grand Star Hotel! And believe me, it is the GRANDEST Hotel of All! It's listed as a 3-Star hotel, but I call it a 5-star hotel!

The Grand Star Hotel is gorgeous. It's a little boutique hotel. The front lobby has subdued lighting, vast space, and very comfortable furniture. My first impressions? Amazing. Gorgeous. Price unbeatable.

Jacob, the Grand Star Hotel driver, met me at the airport. And although it had taken quite a while for my luggage to arrive from baggage claim, there he was, patiently sitting outside with a big sign in his hand with my name on it! He greeted me with a "Akwaaba" Ghanaian welcome, carried my luggage and made me feel like royalty!

The room includes a free continental breakfast and free wifi. The hotel decor is by far the nicest I've seen. Playful and stylish, tasteful yet trendy. It features cool Ghana colors. Oh, and the bed!!!! I was in-love!!! I wanted to ship the mattress back to my residence in the USA!

The staff here are superb. Every time I leave, my room has been made up. I wonder, how do they do it? They're fast , efficient and invisible.

The quality of service doesn't pertain only to housekeeping. The restaurant serving staff are perfect examples of what a 5 star hotel should be like. They are super friendly and makes sure the complimentary coffee and tea are replenished. The fish fufu is outstanding!

The security team, Anas, Hamis and the crew, is the best in Afrika's west! They are alert, friendly, prompt, and interactive. Although they are watchful, they are also a load of fun!!! They make you feel safe and secure so you can enjoy a sound and peaceful night's sleep.

The final test of any hotel. How friendly and concern are the front desk staff and management? Oscar, the manager, and his staff were so attentive and so friendly it was like having family in Ghana (which they really are as I am a descendant of enslaved West Afrikans).

I don't remember everyone's name, but I certainly remember everyone's beautiful face and friendly morning greetings. The overall standard of the hotel and the exceptional service from the staff was second to none. I will certainly be staying here again, and again, and again! I love them all and I love the Grand Star Hotel!

Very nice hotel.. exquisit rooms.. Good and delicious food. Is it a bit in a hideout but love everything here
