Ponderosa Travel Lodge

Located in off the kwabena road. But you don't hear the traffic. Staff are very open and friendly. Great place to take your family or as a group of friends looking for some peace away from the busy Accra life. Highly recommended

After a bit of deliberation, I decided to give Ponderosa Travelodge a try. I booked in for three nights with my ten year old grandson. What a lovely little gem I have discovered! The Ponderosa is well run by Emmanuel and Elizabeth. It actually had the feel of a Greek villa, what with the terracotta and peach colour paint. The pool was just the right size and the grounds and garden were impeccable. My room, the king deluxe, was quite luxurious with cotton sheets, lovely neutral decor and glorious white Turkish cotton towels. The staff knew what they were supposed to do and we had no complaints. Last but not least, was the beautiful wooden staircase. Beautiful!
