There were fourteen in our group. In spite of our number the staff was very accommodating and professional. The food at the restaurant was very good but slow due to our group size and each individual dish cooked from scratch. My teenage daughter said her beef and cheese sandwich was the best she ever had. I would recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, everything worked properly, and the staff was quick to respond to our needs.

I'll give them 5 star on every count. Great location, friendly and homely atmosphere, excellent room, excellent food, courteous and friendly staff, the best beach location that can be. I'd also like to give 1 suggestion that price of beer/alcohol needs to be reduced by atleast 25-30%.

It was a very peaceful place. Very friendly workers making sure all of our needs were met as far as transportation and everything. The is very good. It takes a while, but it's because it is freshly prepared. We were able to ride the horse and enjoy the beach

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Beach House. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, anything we requested during our stay they were willing to do. Not only were the staff really nice, so were the other guests which creates a really nice atmosphere.
The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy including the bathroom and had a wonderful sea/beach view from the room and balcony. With easy access to the beach, it is really nice to go for a walk along.
The food, especially the breakfast was really really good. In particular the handmade bread and omelette with the pineapple jam, my favourite. Compliments to the chef!
I would recommend staying at the Beach House Ankwanda, great value for money too.

We’ve felt like home as soon as we arrived, the staff were really welcoming and attentive, we loved the beach very much and its surroundings. The food was also exceptional and was all cooked fresh. Marcus, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful in organising taxis for us. Last but not least, the dog is super cute and friendly 🐕🏝. We will definitely recommend this little gem if you are intending on visiting Ghana 🇬🇭.

This is a perfect spot, especially for couples. Unlike other hotels and resorts near Elmina, this property is right on the beach and not behind a ‘sea defense’ wall. If you walk west on the beach you can walk for 6km during low tides and it flattens out about halfway, making it ideal for jogging. The food at the rooftop restaurant is varied and delicious. The building is very well constructed and the rooms are very comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and seem happy to work there. It’s surprising to see any negative reviews of this place. One review mentioned lots of kids being around but the novelty of foreigners must have worn off by the time we stayed there. This property also might not appeal as much to wealthy Ghanians who want a good bar and western dishes and don’t want proximity to local fishermen and a fishing village.

A seaside guest house with amazing staff, and a fascinating offering of extracurricular tour/ activities - On the beach, with a peaceful village next door.

The road is paved, till the last 1km, and it's best to use Google 'satellite view: to select the correct turning off the main road (the GPS direction takes you to the next turning, and getting lost a bit).
It's a very comfortable home-like atmosphere, and you may end up staying longer. The beach and waves are peaceful.
Remember to ask for available activities - you will be pleasantly surprised.

Great (small) hotel not too far from Elmina.
Rooms are nice, staff are friendly, and food is fantastic (definitely recommend the steamed fish in banana leaf with coconut rice).
It is possible to swim in the sea in front of the hotel (there is some current) and there are activities you can do at the hotel (the boat trip was quite nice).

The beach house is situated in the best spot along Ankwanda beach, and picturesque views can be enjoyed from the open dining area upstairs or, from a sun lounger under the shade of a palm tree immediately outside!
There is plenty to keep you occupied if you choose to remain on site - from having a massage, to boating or horseriding or enjoying the sand and waves. Nearby are Elmina and Cape Coast castles. The management will happily help you find drivers to travel to any tourist spot, like the castles, Kakum National Park and the crocodile sanctuary. If you're looking for a small, beach accessible guest house with friendly staff - this is it!

We had a very good time at your beach house. We had some trouble finding it but actually there are signs pointing towards it that we hadn't seen. The rooms are nice, we accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids in 2 rooms, one with sea view and a balcony. The food in the roof terrace restaurant was nice. The people were so accommodating and friendly. They even managed to deal with our 2-year-old who likes to throw himself on the floor every now and then 🤣 let's not forget the dog called Puppys (I called him Papi the whole time 😅) who was absolutely adorable. Also, we had some interaction with the fishermen and the kids, an absolute amazing sight when they are on the sea and bringing their boats on shore. We will def be back! You told us next time there would be a swimming pool... We are looking forward to it 😊 don't forget to make a children's pool too and we'll never leave again 😜 best regards, Mumuni family

A piece of paradise! The owners are really friendly, welcoming and careful for any need, the rooms are big, and extremely clean. The whole structure is well maintained and daily cleaned and cared. If you're looking for a relax place this is the one! Really family friendly and children safe, my kids had a lot of fun! The beach is amazing! Thank you, we will come back soon!

This hotel is one of the best hotel I've been to. The rooms are extremly clean. The food is delicious and fresch. And all people who work there are very kind. Me and my daughter can only eat glutenfree food and they even fixed that. You really feel welcome when you are there. I will defently go back to this hotel next time I vist Cape Coast.

We had such an incredible time at the beachhouse. Its right on the beach and the room, Frank the staff member was so welcoming and friendly.

I would say call them first to help you find the location as it is in the village.
The food was so delicious, you should definitely order from the restaurant.
The fruits with the breakfast was so sweet and fresh omg it was the best white pineapple I have ever had.

We will definitely be coming again! Our little hideaway with a beautiful beach with no people. Lol

Fantastic place located in an unique small village. The cook is an excellent person and she works really hard and good, we hate spicy food and she modified all the meals for us. Frank is the best receptionist and he took care of us all the time. The best part of the house is that you are right on the beach.

In front of sandy beach (some rocks are in the water), the food is fabulous and the price is great, plenty activities to do around and the staff always goes the extra mile to ensure we have a good time, highly recommended, and in my opinion the best beach house around.

Had a great time at the beach house, the best and even vegan food we had during our 6 week stay in Ghana, nice house with a huge terrace, great location and friendly service.
