Great place to stay in Elmina! The location is very good, 5 min by car from town (you won't really find many places closer to town). Raskobby and his guys are kind and helpful, and you might even see some dance and drumming performance from the Akomapa cultural group!

Amazing place to stay. Just a minute to ocean. Staff are nice and friendly. Jerry help us a-lot. He took us every where and it cost much more cheaper than normal taxi. We came here to stay one night in the end we stayed 4 nights.

Very nice and safe place. Lovely, honest, and helpful people. Cheap option besides all these luxury resorts. Good food for fair prices.

It's a very nice place to be very close to the sea.Just that you park your car infront of the guest house but nothing would happen to it

Best place to stay in elmina and easy for Cape coast too. Really lovely place, a warm welcome, delicious food and a place genuinely involved in their community. Highly recommended!

Akomapa was a tremendous experience with my family. Very relaxing and the staffs made us felt like we were staying at relatives. I felt comfortable and safe with my 9 years old son and my wife. A fantastic view from our room to the authentic African feel bar and rest areas.
I live in England and based in Kumasi when I visit Ghana, however I will now visit Akomapa every time I visit Ghana as a relaxing resort.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE AUTHENTICITY AND RELAXATION.

Great place for relaxation and also entertainment.it has it own culture center and a community school help which the children in the community.Visit Akomapa village and you will feel at home.

Good option for budget travelers and African culture lovers - the owner's drum and dance group train and perform here and they train the community kids as well.

Akomapa er stedet du skal besøge, hvis du ønsker en hjemmelig atmosfære. Stedet er roligt og huset er beklædt med smukke sted og kunstværker.

Personalet er meget venligt og hvis du ønsker hjælp til at komme rundt eller andet er der også hjælp til dette.

Jeg anbefaler stedet varmt.
