Ayikoo Beach House

Mid March I had the privilege to stay in the beach house for a few days. What a wonderfully attractive house, what a beautiful garden and also the beach and the sea a few meters away. The house had everything a person can imagine for a comfortable stay. The friendly and helpful staff ensured safety, conviviality and privacy if you wish. Never before have I been in the middle of the night. Never before in Ghana have I seen a beach so clean. There is plenty to do in the vicinity of the beach house. But that is not necessary at all. Just being, enjoying, it was allowed, it went without saying. From the bottom of my heart I can recommend Ayikoo beachhouse to everyone. To anyone who loves nature, the sea, but also comfort and wants to get away from stress, crowds and obligations. It was only three days, enough to be able to enter the hustle and bustle of Accra with full energy.

This is the best place to go to when you want to escape the city of Accra.
Whenever I am in Ghana I try to go there and relax.
Great spot with beach access and relax under the coconut palm trees.

Owners are very helpfull. If you are searching for a nice beach house in Ghana, you found it.

Such a lovely place to be Great house with everything you need inside The beach is so beautiful and the people around are so friendly and honest. The kids just love it making campfires catching fish in the night (with a torchlight pointed on the sea, fish are jumping out), sea in front and a lagoon at the back they are enjoying all day discovering nature

We have been well taken care off by the “concierge” at Ayikoo Beachhouse.
We wanted to have a BBQ and asked Immanuelle to pick up fish from the village! He returned with a beautiful fish that he helped to clean and BBQ.
The next day we were keen to have lobster for dinner. Again Immanuelle picked up a bucket of lobster that we cooked for dinner the next day!
Walking distance for food and/or drinks at KoSa Beach and Charlestina beach resort.
We enjoyed a great New Year’s Eve in Ampenyi!

Had an amazing time at the Ayikoo Beach House. The view is out of this world! The accommodation is comfortable, well maintained and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Relax to the max

Voor de tweede keer naar Ghana toe en ook deze keer weer 2 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in dit geweldige Beach House. Wat een fijne locatie direct aan zee. Echt een aanrader 🍹. Zeker weten bij een volgend bezoek aan Ghana ook weer naar het Ayikoo Beach House.

Petit paradis les pieds dans le sable, à un prix très raisonnable. La maison est idéalement placée, avec un magnifique terrain planté de cocotiers. Il y a 4 chambres, chacune avec sa salle de bain, un salon, une cuisine et une terrasse. La personne en charge de la maison est très gentille et disponible. Le propriétaire est très disponible et réactif.
Quelques améliorations pourraient être envisagées (plus grand frigo, plus grand BBQ, pompe pour l'eau, éclairages...) pour rendre l'endroit encore plus idyllique mais quoi qu'il en soit, je le recommande vivement.

Nous sommes venus à l improviste, hors week end, pour voir si on pouvait se garer et passer la nuit dans la cour.
On a meme eu acces a une douche et aux toilettes. Vraiment parfait ! Super gentil ! Merci encore.

Wij hebben de kerstdagen doorgebracht in Ayikoo Beach house. Wj hebben het in één woord heerlijk gehad. De inrichting is eenvoudig, schoon en compleet. Housekeeper en nightwatch waren zeer naar tevredenheid aanwezig. Het uitzicht, de omgeving en de sfeer zijn prachtig. Wij komen zeker terug.

The beach house is heaven on earth ! The location is beautiful, the house is very spacious, well maintained and there is everything you need inside. Having the sea at the door is amazing, and you can chill in the hammocks, or in the beach-chair under the palmtrees after a swim.
The people around and the staff (cleaning lady, house keeper...) are very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended !!

C’est le paradis sur terre ! L’endroit est magnifique, la maison est très spacieuse, bien entretenue et il y a tout ce qu’il faut à l’intérieur. On vit les pieds dans l’eau, on peut bouquiner dans les hamacs ou les chaises longues, sous les cocotiers après avoir piqué une tête dans l’océan. Les gens et le personnel (la femme de ménage, le concierge...) sont adorables et très serviables si on a besoin. Je recommande a 100% !!!

Zeer aangenaam en erg ruim huis met alle comfort dat men nodig heeft. Propere, prima onderhouden tuin waar men heerlijk tot rust kan komen in de zalige strandstoelen en hangmatten. Het privé strand en het uitzicht zijn onbetaalbaar, een idyllischer plekje kan men zich niet wensen. Onderhoudsman en bewaker geven een extra gevoel van veiligheid. Prima eetgelegenheden naar “westerse normen” in de onmiddellijke omgeving. In het kleine dorpje vlakbij vindt men de meeste basic benodigdheden. Cape Coast ligt wel op een eindje rijden, maar is makkelijk bereikbaar via taxi en/of trotro. Ayikoo Beach House is een absolute aanrader en wij zouden dit zelf onmiddellijk terug boeken. Een klein stukje paradijs op aarde, zo’n vakantieplekje dat je voor altijd zal bijblijven!
