I’ve had my whole house fitted with carpets and vinyl flooring. Emma, Jamie and his Dad were very helpful and knowledgeable. They spent a lot of time helping us choose the right flooring for our home and we’re so pleased. The fitting standard is also amazing! Excellent standard of carpet/vinyl at competitive prices. Very pleased!

We are so incredibly pleased with our new carpet but most impressive of all was the amazing service from beginning to end. Jamie was very helpful and informative when we were in the shop and demonstrated a depth of knowledge and understanding that really helped when deciding what carpet we should go for. We went to Carpet Right straight after and spent about 2 minutes in there as the experience was night and day. Due to works at our new house we had to delay installation for a week, “no problem” was the response, amazing. Then on the day after it was jokingly asked if there would be a large enough off cut for an area downstairs that wasn’t planned, Jamie somehow found a way to make it possible! Unbelievable. We cannot say how happy we are with the whole experience and we already have family who are planning on using Biddiscombes for their own carpet installation. Highly recommended!

Biddiscombes have supplied and fitted a couple of carpets for us in recent years. We were surprised that their prices compared so well with the big chains. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff. All round excellent service. Will definitely be using them again.

Very poor experience. I was quoted 120 Sq m for my lounge, hall and bedroom when the actual requirement was 73 Sq m. An overmeasure of 47 Sq m whilst 40% profit for the seller is around 66% too much - both dishonest and unacceptable. Having been told by the employee/owner I was "overthinking" I was clearly right to do so. Fitting cost also extortionate - also 66% more than the price I have accepted. One for Trading Standards. SKIDMORES Worle all the way, better quality carpet and totally honest pricing.

It is very interesting that since I left an honest review so many happy customers have appeared as if to counter my experience and review.

Prospective customers expect a quote to be accurate to compare with other estimates. As an aside the "best price" for identical carpet was a matter of 16p per sq m below Ajenta - also in Winscombe, and Skidmores. The width of our hallway whichever way it is measured is over 5 metres in width so impossible to carpet without any join. Sketches were recorded on site by Jamie however the measurements were clearly not referenced by Emma who produced the quote. I have yet to receive any other carpet estimate where upon placing an order "checking measurements" would lead to a reduction in the quantity of carpet required.
Apology appreciated but greater care at the outset would have avoided any misunderstanding and upset, even on "entry level" carpet costing nearly £4,000 that I could only expect to last 5 years!

I would give it no stars but that is not allowed - shop shut despite opening hours, left message as per door - response over a week later - no good if need flooring now!
Appreciate COVID - however other shop in village was open and managed to quote and almost lay floor before this one could be bothered to respond!!!
