The Ploughman's Farm Shop

Ordered a massive rib of beef for Christmas. It was perfectly prepared (and cooked) and our 12 family members said that it was the best beef that they had ever eaten. Thank you 🤩

First time visiting and pre ordered a fresh turkey from ploughman’s farm shop and the turkey was absolutely delicious. The lady on the phone who took our order was very helpful and polite will definitely be back. Prices are really good, good quality meat! Would highely recommend thank you so much!🙂x

Fantastic meat and service . The best steaks in Somerset . Recently placed an order to feed a football team and all the families . With burgers , sausages and chicken. Everyone was blown away by the quality. And they could not do enough to accommodate our order at fairly short notice .

Got to be the best farm shop around garth the master butcher is very knowledgeable and can literally do anything the shop is always well stocked and if there is something they haven't got chances are they can get it in pretty sharpish well worth a visit the produce speaks for itself 10/10 service and quality 😁👍

Definitely a five star shop, i would give more if possible. The quality of the produce is second to none. I will definitely be visiting again. Friendly helpful staff. Good parking. There is really nothing I can think of that would stop me from recommending this place to anyone.

Great little farm shop, stock with plenty of tasty things. I particularly enjoyed the rolls they do; tongue, salt beef, beef and salami I've tried which were lovely. Great staff too super helpful, friendly and happy to recommend what turned out to be tasty combinations. I highly recommend at least stopping for a roll if you're passing.

Lovely little shop, very friendly team of people. All of my Christmas meat and trimmings. I recommended a number of people from Bristol who also go theirs this Xmas. Great quality I will be using more frequently.

Lovely farm shop with big selection of locally produced goods such as Somerset honey, clotted cream, jam, cider and farm meats definitely recommend

This place is great, everything you need, great selection of top quality food and drink. Decent butchers too. I have lived nearby for a while and had no idea it was there, but it is the best shop in the area

Popped in for a quick look....wow what a lovely shop. The meat is amazing, what I've tried so far has been top quality.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also sell a lovely selection of unique gifts, spent too much! but loved everything I purchased.
Needless to say I can't recommend them enough!

The quality of products in this farm shop is absolutely outstanding our firm favourite is steak and stilton pie. We love their sausages and in the freezer department there are allsorts of frozen pastries that can be finally cooked in an oven. There are also lots to choose from that you won’t find in the supermarket

I visit this farm shop whenever I am in the area. It is fantastic from the fresh veg to the trinkets. this last week I bought the most delicious rib eye steak. ive had their succulent sausages and chickens that taste of chicken too.

It is worth a visit and especially as I hear they have their own turkeys too!

Oh and my dogs love the fried pigs ears .......hairs and all (eek) :)

I've only been here once and will definitely be heading back. Felt like having a roast dinner on a Sunday afternoon and popped in here as it was open around 2:30 on Sunday. Bought a lovely piece of topside for £10 per kg. cooked up a treat and tasted beautiful. The shop has everything you could need to ever cook anything!! Worth a visit, it's not just meat in the shop!

Really well stocked little farm shop. Good high quality products and the meat is amazing. Lots of products to try before you buy. The staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Would really highly recommend.

What an asset to our area, with so many local Butchers shops that have closed it is splendid to find this Farm Shop. Excellent sausages and the meat presentation is a treat. Looking forward to Christmas turkeys. In addition there is an amazing selection of other stock. First class.

A lovely little farm shop just off the A38.

Whenever we are in the area we do our best to pop in to get some fresh local produce. We love getting local chutneys, a cheeky pastry and we just love the Tonic waters.

The staff are very friendly and appreciate your business.

What an amazing place! Staff were amazing, food cannot be beaten, they were friendly and polite, couldn’t be more helpful. Great choice of meat and ale among lots and lots enjoyed of other things, when you visit you won’t disappointed, my dad also says thanks for the ploughman’s lunch! ;)

We have been travelling down here for well over a year. Friendly welcome, helpful staff, nothing is to much trouble. Great selection of products & gifts. We buy a month worth of products never been dissapointed. Reasonable price, would recommend this place to anyone.
