B&Q Loughborough

I was served by a lovely woman with colourful hair at the paint mixing station. She was brilliant from the get go, I feel her way of communicating with people is authentic and doesn't feel forced at all.

I purchased two roses earlier this year. When they flowered, they were nothing like the image on the product card. I discussed the problem with a member of staff and they were completely wonderful and exchanged the roses for more suitable plants (which were in flower at the time, so no more disappointment when I get them planted on). Thank you so much for your kindness S, you were extremely kind and caring to a stressed out customer.

Huge store with everything needed for home improvements, construction, and much more...

My visit was connected to wallpaper, no assistant near, dropped to paint counter.
Sam offered her help, have to say, brilliant staff you have.
Great patience and understanding.
My enquiry could not be handled in Loughborough Store, Sam called Derby Store, who could help.
Sam controlled my need and put aside said wallpaper for pickup.

Only if other stores had staff like yourselves, more comments would sing their praise.

Biggest b and q I’ve been to so much range and such good customer service

Time to give B&Q a better rating as one of the UK's most improved big brands.
The days of useless low quality stock and dead plants are in the past.
There's a real sense of them playing the modern game Vs the internet. Good prices, good stock, wide range.

(Only critique of the Loughborough store is someone should get out more often with a broom and sweep the glass thrown by idiots the night before at the far end of the car park. Lots of brooms inside, cheap! )

We visited the store looking for light bulbs, who knew shopping for bulbs could be so complicated, still a very nice lady helped us find the ones we needed 😀 excellent quality and service many thanks 😊

We saw Rob a few times regarding our kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble, he was patience, efficient and so helpful. He made us feel important and that our project was important to him too. We had to take our 3 year old one time and he couldnt do enough to make sure she was entertained too. Thank you so much Rob for the best service

Visited here to see about a new kitchen and was greeted by Rob, we sat for hours, and he was so super helpful with the whole process with great ideas. Great work, Rob !!

Large B&Q store with a wide range of products. Includes a large trade area with separate entrance. Staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a wood cutting service for large or long wood stock. Sizable car park with classic burger van. Note, the cafe is no longer open. Close proximity to a Toolstation, Screwfix and Wickes if you can't find what you need. Interesting button near the entrance to call a staff member has now been added.

Didn't do any shopping but did meet a friend I hadn't seen in a while . My friend I came with got some bargains

Great plants at competitive prices

Went in, found exactly what we needed for a brilliant price, we're in and out within ten mins. Used self serve, didn't have to interact with anyone, was bliss.

First time at this store, historically patronised the Depot in Leicester. Enjoyed the visit to this store, both in terms of level of service and product choice. Having sorted my click & collect purchase, had a browse for other products and was so impressed that we're considering changing our preferred outlet despite it being much further away from our home.

Good range of products.
Some staff are friendly and very helpful but there is one there that is completely anti-social, anti-Customer actually she's not good for the company in my opinion.

Dont use this store often anymore as not really needed it so was nicely surprised when I went in today. Took about 10 mims to find someone but when I did I had her attention. Im in no way a gardener but it seems I cant even pay someone a reasonable price these days so tackled it myself. Needed a strimmer and after discussing the options and answering my questions with the full knowledge that if it didn't do what I wanted I could return it I left very happy. Ibe tried this sgrimmer out and have to say I won't be returning it, string enough for the overgrown garden and very reasonably priced! Thanks B & Q

Great customer service, even though they didn't stock what I needed.

Very helpful staff, good stock and timber cutting. So much better than Cricklewood and Wood Green which has timber but no one to operate the saw (they are only there after 13:00 Monday to Wednesday). Why don't B&Q tell you this on the website!

Excellent service when planning, designing and buying new kitchen. Full praise to Cathy and Mark who made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. Can't praise them enough!. The whole process including after sale contact has been first class... well done and thank you!..

All the DIY products and good you can imagine. Customer services are good and the returns policy is standard 30 days. But if you have lost your receipt they will still do there best to give you an exchange or a refund.

Also they have ample parking spaces as well.
