Delicious chef’s special of shepherds pie! Top quality grub! My partner enjoyed his burger too. Friendly attentive staff, bit pricey but a 25 min walk from guesthouse at rempstone.

This place was amazing for a random lunch on the way back from Yorkshire to Surrey.

The food was delicious and they had a great menu.

The staff were super friendly and really efficient. The lunches came out nice and quickly and perfectly cooked.

Will definitely try and remember this place and visit again next time we are passing.

Called in for a late lunch with my husband and friend. I can’t really fault the place a lovely warm welcome especially from Eliza. The food was delicious hot and tasty. All staff efficient and friendly and a reasonable price. Comfortable surroundings a real home from home feel. Keep up the great work it is appreciated and is consistent every time we come. Thank you

This wasn't a planned stop off for something to eat but its a little gem we stumbled over.... and it deserves my food critic review. I had the calamari for my starter and was delighted it came out still crispy and not over cooked. I had the lamb for my main and I do love my meat pink but I just wanted to test them on the cooking and had it medium and came out just right the only down from it was the lack of seasoning on the lamb and I would have liked to have had a home made pie but I do get the practicality and time it would take to make your own.

I do recommend this little gem and we will be back to try something different.

Great food at reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service Clean and tidy toilets.
Limited vegetarian options but tasty nonetheless.

Excellent service and great food. This is my 4th time at the Packe Arms and I have never been let down. I would highly recommend this venue for good food nice and friendly service and it is very dog friendly as well.

Absolutely fantastic & really enjoyed our food. We had the Valentine's Menu on which the were several choices per course. Everything was served beautifully cannot fault it. Well done chef & servers! We will come again. The Packe Arms is our treats place to eat. The love hearts were a nice touch.

A lovely meal and a nice atmosphere. We were served by Eliza, who went the extra mile to make sure we had a fabulous time. She was especially kind to out dog, Holly, who received a treat for being a good girl. We look forward to returning.

Lovely old pub to visit in the countryside. Came here for my partners birthday meal which was the first time I had visited. I had the ‘Trio Sunday meal’ which was more than perfect. Shoutout to the Great staff who looked after us on the day!

I booked a table using the app. We were served and looked after by Dannii, who was very kind, helpful, and attentive and knowledgeable about drinks and food. Tom and Dylan served food to us and even though they were busy they were pleasant, happy, and attentive.
I would like to say the Chef, Chris and his team, James, Scott and Carl. Do a brilliant job behind the scenes in creating wonderful food - which tastes delicious, and looks amazing.

Great food, and quality service. No starter ordered. But the main course arrived swiftly. Lovely food @ a reasonable price. Would totally recommend, and will definitely go back.

Went for a lovely meal here last night. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed despite being a Friday evening. It was nice to take our time and not feel rushed. There were plenty of options on the menus to choose from. I had the turkey from the festive menu and it was delicious. The desserts were also really good, my friends really enjoyed the profiteroles! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially our server Dannii who ensured we had a wonderful evening.

The Sunday roast was enjoyable, good portions and variety of veg and meat well cooked. The pudding was delicious. The staff were also friendly and made us feel welcome.

Four of us came for our Christmas lunch and could not have been made m ore welcome. The food was superb and the service full of character. You have an excellent team, working together to provide a really memorable eating experience. The building is an ideal atmospheric location and you all put on a lively show on what what must be a demanding and long day.

And we really enjoyed the meal, although we avoided the steak after our previous visit.
Upholstery was comfortable but could do with a clean.
