Chine House Veterinary Hospital

Chine House have provided the care for our dog Winnie since she was a puppy. We have always found the whole team exceptional. You can always get an answer on the telephone & an appointment in an acceptable time period. We have had a couple of emergency cases, during which we were updated regularly & felt Winnie was in the best hands. Winnie especially likes the lady on reception who hands out the treats! Would highly recommend.

Raven is very happy again after today's visit with Martin, she hates the vets but loves Martin and very happily goes in to see him. I've been using Chine for a very long time and whilst I've heard they aren't quite as cheap as others I'd never swap the 5* treatment my dog gets from there. They have in house testing and they staff their own overnights and emergencies. You get a vet 24/7 365 and never get passed on and charged extra. She's had a couple of operations which I was in bits over as she has epilepsy but he reassured me both times and personally did the surgery and she was absolutely fine. Never had a problem there and would never go anywhere else as I love and value my dog so much.

Craig Hunt is the best veterinarian for exotic animals that you will find! He looks after our degu boy very well and I trust him completely. Staff is always nice and very helpful. Very lovely people work in here.
The only thing I would suggest for any improvements, is that waiting area for smaller animals could be a bit more quiet, as barking of the dogs can be very stressful for already very stressed little ones...

Fantastic vets. Craig is very knowledgable about reptiles and really knows what he's talking about. Gave me a lot of great advice with caring for my reptile. The nurses kept me updated daily with how my lizard was doing when she had to stay a few days for tests. Receptionists are also brilliant, very friendly and chatty - especially Geraldine.

It was a long treatment process but we're 3 months in the clear and my lizard seems very happy (touch wood). As great as these guys are, I'm hoping I don't have to see them for a while!

I’m so pleased I took my new tortoise ‘Eric’ to the exotic specialist for a check over. I received so much useful information to help me get things right for my little guy who suffered a bit before I got him. 100% recommended.

Worth their weight in gold, a wealth of knowledge and experience, wonderful staff with caring attitudes. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so compassionate when you have to face the worst news. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, they love the animals and they care about their clients.

Took our dog in for surgery on his corns. Tamsin explained the procedure clearly and Tom the discharge nurse, gave clear post- operation advice. Everybody is very friendly and helpful and they really care about their patients.

Excellent veterinary practice, the staff on reception are so friendly and compassionate. It’s so wonderful to have an exotics pet specialist so nearby. I would recommend using this veterinary practice for your pets.

The staff looked after our dog really well as they have always done so, (30 years customer). The prompt follow up action sorted a slight infection out straightaway. Very pleased as usual.

My bella was not well and they made everything so comfortable for her, they are the best vets i have ever gone to and would never go anywhere else in the future, even received this today made me cry but such a lovely thing to do, everyone there including the reception desk was so good to us, thank you

I have used chine house for over 30 years. Martin has always been excellent often in difficult circumstances. I would recommend him unreservedly.

So easy to book an appointment and register our puppy Finney. Finney was well looked after and had his 2nd vaccination with ease, very impressed with the service and reasonable cost of treatment. Very happy!

Chine House is an amazing practice who understand your pets needs and try to accomadate all yours and their needs,
VERY SUPPORTIVE AND CARING.

Just been with our cat Tinkerbell with fly strike was seen within 5 minutes by Vet MARTIN RUDKIN all sorted in 15 minutes by him plus some cream and antibiotic injection, THATS WHAT YOU CALL A GREAT CARING SERVICE, Thanks from Tinkerbell xxx.

Brilliant vets they are ready to advise and help when you need it. Went today with my neighbour who took Dennis their African Grey as my neighbour wanted advice about them application of the meds. Great job.

Always had good service here with cats parrots and horses. All staff professional and caring.
