The Gentleman working at the self-checkout around 4.15pm was excellent. Great customer service, extremely busy with school kids and was still attentive, and professional. I have used the store a few times now and he's always smiling and helpful.

Everyone loves Poundland. A national treasure of treasures. Sure, the staff don't really care much, and sure there's mess and trash everywhere but where else are you going to find milk, duct tape and light bulbs all in place that's cheaper the supermarkets.

Value for money and the customer service is excellent, very helpful and friendly staff .

All of the staff are great in this store..... especially Dan who you can usually find by the self service tills.

Nice store with items for daily use that are cheap. Store has a good collection of items and are usually good on stock. Quality might not be that great but that's to do with the items cost.

Our pilot store opened in the Octagon Centre, Burton-upon-Trent, in December of 1990, followed by new stores in High Street, Meadowhall and other quality trading locations. Shoppers loved the concept and so did fellow retailers and landlords. The stores proved to be a huge success. Meadowhall’s success was repeated by further stores opening by the end of the year.

I use them regularly! A good selection of cleaning products, snacks & lovely staff.

Handy store as you can buy things such as L'Oréal Men often 40% cheaper than shops.

TW store was well stocked. Staff member at door to check numbers in and wearing face masks. Got all I came for.

Brilliant shop. So many bargains. I fill a shoe box for Christmas for those less fortunate than ourselves and you do this for a good price shopping at Pound land!
