Went here to enquire about a key for an old sash window that was locked in a rented property we'd just moved in to. They didn't have they key but they were extremely helpful in telling us what we needed and where to get it. We ordered a key and it's exactly what we needed. Great customer service by people who know what they're talking about!

This is a proper "four candles" hardware shop. Magnificent service, Thomas stocks absolutely everything! In future I'll go here first. Keep up the great work and it is an absolute pleasure to shop here.

I want to move and live in this place. I only got to stand in the door (in the current restrictive climate) for a couple of minutes and was amazed by the contents of this charming cornucopia of random items, strewn abreast the shop. I was served promptly and politely by the owner, who within seconds saw himself up a ladder to retrieve my requested item. A Gas cannister for an 80's blowtorch!! I will make every excuse to buy my hardware items from this fine establishment from this day forward. Even if I don't need it, I'm sure they will have it.

Absolutely brilliant place to find anything you want, and also the things you didn't know you wanted! A real Aladdin's Cave. Not much I haven't been able to get here, and always at a lower price than anywhere else locally. Truly helpful and friendly service too, can't recommend highly enough.

The original 'old curiosity shop', if they haven't got what you are looking for then they will do the upmost to get it for you! First class old fashioned Ironmongers and hardware shop!

If this place don't stock it, the likelihood is you don't need it. Fantastic place that has the old fashioned vibe. Well worth a visit!

I love this shop it is the best I am always in thair buying little bits for stuff around the house if you need one screw for so something you can get one screw it's grate

This shop is unbelievable, it hasn't changed for years but is the best place to go for hardware. Forget Leekes or B&Q, this shop is value for money and local. Penygraig would be a sorry place without this unique shop.

Old fashioned shop, had things not found in the superstores, plus there was someone there to help sort what I needed. Not a load of "not quite right" plastic packets ☺
