Tesco Superstore

A massive shout out to Tesco Rugeley who tonight have gone above and beyond for my husband. He is now confined to a mobility scooter or wheelchair and has not been shopping in a very long time. Tonight he went on his mobility scooter and the help and assurance he received from staff, Bianca in particular, and customers has gladdened his heart. These small acts of kindness have given him a tremendous boost. Thank you all x

An easy to get to, large Tesco on one floor. Tons of free parking (free for 3 hours) and a fuel station on-site. Bright and welcoming with a large selection of goods. The little cafe - where H and I had breakfast - is clean and tidy and offers a good range of food at decent prices. The staff - especially Kerry - is delightful.

We don't generally go in-store much so I can't really comment on the inside and staff etc. However we ordered online and chose to collect. Lady delivery driver was so friendly and helpful. She even made a fuss of our dogs. Lovely lady.

Usually I wouldn't comment about supermarkets, but this one impressed me. Came in on Friday night because my friend needed some painkillers and we were nearby, however on our way out, my friend tripped and fell. Staff immediately came to us to make sure she was okay. I can't remember everyone's names, but the black haired lady that was on the self checkouts helped us originally, who called for Phil and us massively, there was another two ladies but cannot remember anything. Just wanted to thank those staff who helped my friend and took their time to just being kind hearted. She's been to A&E etc, just a sprain but your staff's help really impressed me and I hope they can see this because a good deed always is followed by good karma.

Nice and handy to grab what you need quick and fast

We were served by a lovely gentleman on till 18 today and he clearly has difficulties, but was doing a great job and was very polite and cheerful

However
Making 50% of your tills self serve is an absolute joke.

It puts additional pressure on your staff and to be honest I don't work there.....so why would I want to scan my own shopping. Get a grip.

Really helpful customer service assistant on this morning, named Leah! Just wanted to leave her a review personally for being such a huge help when I was searching for a specific brand of nappies! She checked all local stores and rang up to make sure they held some back for me to collect after work. Really grateful! Excellent customer service 👏

Like to say a big 'thank you' to Jill working on the shop floor who went out of her way last Wednesday (26th October) to find an extra large frozen turkey from out of the warehouse when there weren't any in the freezer.

Easy to get around, self service good

A nice shopping experience and a nice breakfast bap afterwards. Nice music being played made it a happy place to be.

Have shopped here a few times and it’s been a good experience. Staff are pleasant and working hard at this difficult time; so well done all! Last night I was involved in a car accident. At the petrol station forecourt - a young gentleman called ‘Stew’ kindly gave us water and hand warmers whilst we stood outside in the cold taking to the driver of the other vehicle. Wanted to say a big thank you to Stew. You were amazing and really kind; Tesco should be proud of you!!

Nice place to do shoping.

They have some really good deals if you have a clubcard. Good cleaning station on entrance. Good variety of products. Easy parking and are able to park your bike with ease. Feels secure as a camera overhead.

Just in case you didn’t get my first text can I praise Tom on self service today dec 22nd dec at around 2 pm went out very pleased with the service I received. Tom is the right material for management.

I use the shop and garage on a regular basis !!
All staff wonderful but the one person who serves me often is Jon Passmore always polite and happy and goes above and beyond to be helpful.

A brilliant organisation who is doing everything possible to make life easy for us all in these difficult times. The Rugeley store was being well led by the management and a great set of staff doing all they could to make our shopping experience as easy as possible. Keep it up - it all helps to get us through these unusual experiences.

I visited Tesco Phone Shop in Rugeley,as I wanted to change my network provider and I'm not sure what to do. Chris, Damian and Toni, were fantastic, they made me feel so comfortable and there was no pushy sales patter. I believe they went beyond the call of duty, to assist me. Well done and thanks

Humble thanks to the manager Phil and his co-workers who saved this old lady from a breakdown.
Unable to get to the store, unable to order on line - *'cos I can't -no slots for 'click and collect'
Phoned Tesco Head Office who proceeded to talk me through the registration (Thank you Robbie for patience and perseverance.)
Sadly, no slots available, so eventually managed to connect me to the duty manager (Phil) our local Store at Rugeley .
Absolutely first class service, kindness and patience - I was sorted !
