Apart from the quality of a product, what sets a company apart from its competitors?

It’s the customer service and Dana at Screwfix Swadlincote is the perfect example of a wonderful brand ambassador, she was incredibly helpful when my wife, baby boy and myself came in to buy an outdoor light. She introduced herself, allowed us to compare a couple of items for colour reference and clearly talked us through the product and explained the benefits of having an account with them, all whilst engaging with my son and wife as we played tag team as he wanted to explore.

She should be commended on a fantastic job.

Popped in here today today as I was in the area and it was more convenient as they had my item in stock and it wasn't in stock locally for me! It's easy to find and plenty of parking space! I wasn't to sure how to order and pay on the in store machine and the lady behind the counter was very helpful and polite and got it all sorted for me!! Even though it was busy,the lady who served me went and found out my order straight away and had it in hand and payed for within minutes!! Really good hassle free visit with helpful and polite staff,so a big thumbs up for me! Would definitely use again if I was in the area! 👍🏼 Thank you

Friendly staff, always a quick service

Got some supplies for a fence paint job. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had to do another trip to Ashby store for the paint, took about half an hour to an hour drive. Pre ordered and collected the next day.

They have a good and large selection of products in store but its easier to search for a product on the website, check if it is available and add it to your account to be picked up. Otherwise you can order online and get a message when you can pick up your product from the store.

Staff are always cheerful and helpful. Shopping her today and being served by Natasha was a delight. Obviously someone who knows and enjoys her job.

Once again excellent service. Dirty water pump dies under warranty. I ring up and replacement available in just a couple of minutes. Everything can go wrong! But no messing with Screwfix. Would not go anywhere else.

Fantastic service, I ordered online, ordering the wrong thing by mistake, the lady in-store couldn't be more helpful, checking other local stores, for what I needed, getting in sent from another local store so I could collect later the same day.
