Dexterous Detailing

I had my BMW 320d M Sport detailed by Steve @ Dextrous Detailing in April 2018. The car was 2 years old and was previously a company car, so had 2 years of abuse via cheap car washing.

Steve performed a MIRACLE on my car. The paint was fully corrected through careful multi-stage decontamination & machine polishing, Senza Eguali Genesis ceramics on the paint and KKD glass sealant on the windows. It's make the car appear BETTER THAN NEW; this thing shines in the sun and looks beautiful!

I am seriously impressed by how professional Dextrous Detailing are; every car is treated with complete respect - whether it be a supercar or a regular car like mine.

I'll definitely use this company again and would recommend their services to anyone.

Steve did an amazing job on our new Fiesta ST. I was shocked by the level of shine achieved from the silver paint. Attention to detail was perfect all over the car with not a mark anywhere. He was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times which was really helpful. All in highly recommended!!

I was referred to Dexterous Detailing to carry out ceramic coating on my MX5. From start to finish Steve was transparent and professional. He talked me through all the steps and I felt very comfortable leaving my car with him. Steve also included the waterproof coating of my soft top with the service. He also hilighted issues with the painting of my calipers that had been done by another business prior. I asked if he could repaint them and he took extra time to do just that! When I picked up my car I was over the moon with what I found. He has given my car the best face-lift, it looks new.. I'm so happy! I have had so many compliments. I totally recommend his services, you wont be disapointed.

Steve has done an amazing job on my car. I hadn't realised how bad the paintwork was until it came back! The result was like glass, the paint correction and ceramics restored the car to a better than new finish! He gives great advice about the upkeep, even ordering products to use on the car to keep it looking as it should. Wouldn't hesitate to use Dexterous Detailing again in the future, and would recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone that goes the extra mile to make your car look great.

After a disaster with a jet wash and brush attachment my new MX5 was riddled with scratches, some superficial but clear to see, others much deeper. I went straight to Steve who was honest that he couldn't help at that point and referred me to a different company for a respray and alternatively a company who could wrap the car. Fortunately the insurance company paid out for a complete respray and once this was completed I took the car back to Steve for a 3 year ceramic coating. The car looks absolutely fabulous now, better than new and protected. Steve was professional, a voice of calm when I first took the car and informative and helpful once the coating had been applied. He gave lots of information, especially about after-care and kindly provided me with links to the cleaning products he uses. This is the second car I have taken to Dexterous Detailing and I will not hesitate to use it again, highly recommended.

Collect my BMW 1 series from Steve this morning after he worked some of his magic on it and I have to say he done a fantastic job it looks 200% better than when it came out of the factory. Steve and Dexterous cleaned an old R53 Mini Cooper S for me pre-sale and made a great job of getting it to look stunning. Upon purchasing my latest toy; another Mini, I knew that it had to visit Steve and the Team for some fettling! :)

Steve was worried as I have automotive OCD; the car is nearly mint BUT I knew that a paint correction and ceramic coat would take it to the next level. I was not wrong!

From consultation and throughout the process, Steve was the consummate professional. His knowledge and skill enabled results. No question was left unanswered and I received regular updates and images of the process from start to finish. All things that are now part of the history of the vehicle.

Am looking forward to using Dexterous for my daily vehicle and in Steve and Dexterous looking after the GP for the foreseeable future.

Exceptional service. Took my car in for a single stage paint correction, the car used to be a hire car and therefore was covered in small scratches and swirl marks. He took his time working on this and was very good with communication. We concluded that a stage 2 would be better due to the extent of the damage, he messaged regarding this during the car being with him, so I made the decision to go for it, he cracked on and worked Sunday morning to get it finished!

Couldn’t believe it when I collected it, it was like another car! Great service and very reasonable pricing for the amount of labour involved! Would definitely use again, now considering getting my other halves car ceramic coated here!

We are on our 4th car being detailed now through Dexterous Detailing, Steve is meticulous in his approach and stunning with results. We have had everything done from exterior, interior, ceramics and even simple maintenance washes. I have dropped off a car this evening and left it there for him to work his magic and I can’t wait to pick it up and see the end result. I trust Dexterous Detailing enough to leave it with them and do what they see fit to make it look amazing and be fully protected. Our next brand new car which is due to arrive in a week will also be treated by Dexterous Detailing without doubt.

My partner had her Audi TT paintwork done to perfection by Steve. A pigeon had decided to leave 2 presents on the car on a baking hot sunny day. Needless to say it burned into the paint and after a few polishes and then I even tried a dab of T-Cut ,i was never gonna sort this out. A repaint of the roof and bonnet would probably cost a fortune. Heard about Dexterous Detailing from a neighbour and went to see Steve, on arrival it was raining and the blemishes could not be seen ,so I pointed out the general location on the car. Steve was so confident of getting the marks out because he had done loads of similar work. Steve explained the number of options and full car treatments he offered and we booked it in for the week after. On arrival of picking up the car after Steve had worked his magic it was unbelievable the finish he had achieved. As good as any Dealership showroom if not better and we were both pleased with the finished result. The whole car was smooth n shiny. No sign of any pigeon ‘burn’ , it was if the blemishes were never there. Do not hesitate to call Steve to discuss your needs, highly knowledgeable and genuinely wants to do a great job. Steve's work is absolutely outstanding and his passion for his craft is shown in every single vehicle he works on. Whether it is a Fiesta or a Ferrari, they all get given an incredible level of workmanship using the latest technology. Steve is also happy to advise on a range of DIY products and gives what he believes is the most appropriate advice, not the one which will yield him the most money.

All in all, I thoroughly recommend Dexterous Detailing and wouldn't hesitate doing so to anyone.

After a few messages on facebook, I took my new to me extremley neglected 2014 Touareg into Steve at dextrious detailing to do a damage assesement and to discuss what was needed to get the paintwork back to looking right. Steve showed me the damage under his lights (swirl marks and marring) from previous poor wash techniques by the previous owners, explained the options and costs for diffeent packages, but that really a full decontamination and 2 stage correction was the way to go to accheive the results I desired. After this we discussed protection options (wax, sealents and ceramics) to lock in the shine once the paintwork had been corrected and polished. He explained the diffrence between each one and the expected life time of each product. I opted for a 3 year ceramic coating. The work took Steve 3 days, and upon seeing the car, I couldn't beleive the diffrence. My car is 6 years old, and i've seen brand new cars at the dealership looking worse than mine does now. Looks better than a brand new car, alot better than when I picked it up from VW. Amazing work from Steve, would definitely reccomend, and my Mother is so impressed with mine she's booked hers in for the same package. Extremely happy with the work Dexterous Detailing has done on my new BMW X2. It looks amazing. I would recommend his new car protection with the various ceramic products he uses instead of paying the dealership for an inferior product. Absolutely superb finish. Highly recommend this company.

Steve offered friendly, professional advice without any hard sell. The finish on my 65-plate car is astonishing. It went in with swirl marks and fine scratches and came out in what I can only describe as near perfect condition.

Steve is passionate about what he does, and this is reflected in the final finish. I could Not recommend him highly enough, as Steve's approach is easy going, and is happy to work with you to achieve a finish you’re after, and nothing is too much trouble for him, my wife called him "Brave" for taking on my bike & Now my Car, that's coming from the perspective of she knows I wouldn't just give anyone either !

I have now had a second car detailed by Steve, an Alfa Romeo Giulia. The results again did not disappoint and the effort put in to lift out the metallic shine from the paintwork is first class! The car is transformed from when it was picked up at the dealer and couldn’t be happier! I am extremely fussy with my cars and one of the main reasons that I came back was that I know that my car will be in extremely good hands - highly recommended!

Having known Steve since before he started this business, he was always posting pictures of his cars after he'd detailed them. Since deciding to do it for a living the quality of his work absolutely astounds me. Fantastic service he offers. Second to none!

I had my car detailed after a disastrous ‘valet’ by the dealer.which left a serious amount of scratches/damage on my new paintwork. The scratches were removed and the ceramic coating was still going strong after a year of traffic. Cannot recommend Dexterous enough and await trialing the fenlab coating on my new beast. 10/10!
