Fantastic proper old school hardware shop, everything you need and more, all under one roof. Also sells fishing permits for the Welsh Dee, which is my main reason for visiting. Very friendly helpful staff.

We were part of this years Eisteddfod and needed a local gas supplier, Watkins was recommended to us by Bjs and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. Amazing team, great service! Can't wait to see you next year! Barry & JoJo's

This shop is very useful the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and have mostly what you want if you haven't they will try and get it for you customer service is second to none I would recommend you using them

Super polite and friendly staff who know their stuff and are willing to offer advice.

It's clear that it's run as a family business and as such has a great vibe about it. It is very well stocked and much cheaper than the bigger chain hardware stores.

Every town could benefit from a shop like Watkins & Williams - I hope it's cherished for many years to come 👍

We had a DIY disaster. The staff in the store gave us excellent advice, made sure we bought the correct products for the job and were very knowledgeable.

Amazing staff, great prices and everything you can imagine, all under one roof. The guys at Watkin & Williams have helped me out with things for years now and never raise an eyebrow with the task I bring them. From key cutting to bakery ideas they are brilliant and always rush to help where they can. They’ll save you money if they can, never quibble a refund or exchange and always have you smiling as you leave.
The last of a dying breed - the small indecent hardware and everything shop is brilliant, even just to look around!

Ordered some logs and coal lunchtime today sorry logs out of stock expecting delivery in couple of days ok no real urgency when they're available we will wait 16.30 today they turned up with our order thank you so much outstanding service

This place is amazing a good old fashioned hardware store that sells everything you might ever need for DIY or home goods as well as cut to size timber coal tools kitchen goods plumbing paint camping items you have to go see it for yourself! The staff are helpful and friendly plus they deliver 😀
