An excellent place, and well worth a detour. Can store bikes down the side passage. A stupendous, well prepared roast which was delicious and great value - compliments to the chef. The staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting here again.

Absolutely superb, proper pub. Great range of drinks on draught and some great gin. New menu is fantastic and great value, both the main menu and the theme nights. Sky Sports too! Owners are lovely and bar staff great. Go!

The meal was tasty an reasonably priced. My pint of Staropramen was amazing. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and comfortable.
The other customers were friendly and chatty. Recommend for a lovely casual meal.

Excellent. Booked at 15 mins notice at 1pm Sunday when booked restaurant was closed. Really good Sunday lunch and nice people. Thank you. Regular roasts (beef, lamb and chicken) with superb garlic mushroom starter. Too full for puddings but coffee and biscuits fine.

Superb service and food! Felt welcome and looked after. We had Mexican and vegan burgers plus descent pint of Guinness - I recommend. Next time we need to try desserts 😁

Nipped in for food but sadly they don't do any on Mondays. Had a drink anyway, staff were really nice, locals were friendly and the pub looked great. Would go back on a day they do food. Beer garden looked fantastic.

I just wanted a proper Sunday roast. Oh boy that's what I got, delicious. Only possible complaint could be that there was too much! The beef was cut so you could taste it, melted in your mouth. Friendly staff, all round excellent meal

A beaters feast on a Thursday lunch time for seventeen damp hungry people! I had steak which was beautifully cooked, generously served with all the trimmings and washed down with a pint of pale ale. As we only had a short time to enjoy the fire and genial surroundings they fed us promptly.

Went to the White Horse Inn today in Overton,for Sunday Lunch with Hubby, brother and his wife. All had Sunday lunch with puddings and few drinks! OMG BEST SUNDAY DINNER I'VE HAD IN AGES!!!!!😋😋😋😋Food is top notch,pub very friendly staff. Our Male waiter was awesome!!!!! Very attentive and professional service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟plus RECOMMENDED well worth a visit TOP CHEF👍👌WILL DEFINITELY BE GOT GAS BACK TO SAMPLE OTHER FOOD ON MENU😀

Lovely pub and restaurant in a lovely village. Catherine is a great host. She deserves this to be success and I hope the people of the village can support The White Horse.

We held out daughters christening here today in the function room upstairs and was extremely pleased with the food and the service. What a lovely pub. I would definitely highly recommend

Stopped for a sunday lunch before heading back home to Leeds . Had a Beef roast dinner which was amazing. Lot's of meat , potatoes and veg. We were full to the brim when we left . Roast and a coke just short of £12 bargin !

Very homey and welcoming pub that has a good classic and not overly busy menu. Good, honest wellade and presented food. Definitely worth stopping in.
