Homebase - Tunbridge Wells West Station

We visited the store wanting paint and some handles for drawers. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The paint was mixed especially for us because it was an old, now not offered, colour. There were not enough handles in stock BUT the manager offered to collect them from stores who did have them. Big thanks to Sam, the manager, Andy the paint man and Shelly who helped and checked us out(!). Excellent service.

I would highly recommend Homebase for their excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. They truly care about their customers and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. I will definitely be returning for my future home improvement needs!

I have been using this place for years now and every time that I have gone there the service that I have recieved has allway,s been good. The last visit I made there the particular item that I wanted was not on the shelf so I enquiered at the customer service desk and the young lady that was there was more than helpfull in checking the stock for me online and when she discovered thst not only were they out of stock of the item that I was after but also other branches were out of stock she was more than apologetic and recomended thatI order it online from them which I did as soon as I got home. The next day it arrived very pleased with the service all round.

An excellent as a general store but difficult to get anybody to help for advice and guidance. It appears that the times I have frequent here as if , either many are on a break, or that they have reduced the number of staff required to run the store efficiently. It does have quite diverse products but feel that they should perhaps increase staff to run a quality unit. Just my opinion. As a member of the NB Institute of Quality Assurance feel this would be a way forward to increase sales. Again is only my opinion.

Great member of staff, I forgot to ask his name, who helped us alot with our queries even though he was from another department. He's an asset to his company, I am very grateful to people who actually care about helping customers!

Great place for all kinds of decorating and garden type stuff.

Considerably smaller than it use to be as half is now Aldi. Still had an excellent range with displays cleverly done to maximise all space, with prices inline with Amazon or B&Q. Helpful and polite staff.

Went in to buy a hose pipe and ended up bumping in to ex tennis player Tim Henman. Bloody nice guy

Visited the store on Good Friday to click and collect a chair due to me having a broken wrist i asked if i could purchase a display model as the legs needed to be put on . A lovely lady called Kerry said no dont have the display one i can assemble it for you which she did and helped me out to the car with it . That is what i call good service going that extra mile the other staff members were polite and helpful too . Big shout out to Kerry she is a real asset to your company .

Had to ask for the Danish Oil I was looking for because I couldn't see it. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, showed me where it was. I needed the clear one so they found a "natural" one for me. After discussion with other members of staff as well we decided that was the one I needed.

I've used it and it appears identical to the previous tin. So thanks to the checkout lady I was able to find and buy what I needed.

If that's an indication of the assistance they provide I will be going back there for all my DIY needs. Thanks to all involved

So if you need to bury a body and don't want any ackward questions then this is the place.
You can purchase all your materials, then just walk out the shop without paying because the staff sure as hell aren't going to ask you if you need help.

Just popped in to buy some ready mixed concrete to repair a few holes in the driveway. Finally tracked down the product to Homebase. Surprisingly difficult to source at the moment. Other diy stores wouldn't do click and collect, apparently 20kg bags are a two man lift! Really, have another Weetabix. 😂

Really friendly staff and nice wide parking spaces!

I went there for a wood glue and another time for a metal glue.

Always been a fan of Homebase, you can find most things you're looking for from wide a range for the home garden DIY and building projects.
This store also has the Bathstore upstairs where there's more for the home including lamps blinds bathroom accessories and domestic cleaning products.
Homebase also know how to pick their staff, who are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Highly recommended.

What a difference! We hadn't visited because it was always a mess....sorry Homebase, but it was!
What a transformation, clean, well set out, good displays....we'll be back!!
