The Scottish Wool Centre

A huge shop with all that you will need as a visitor. Good selection of clothes and accessories for both men and women, an exclusive tweed section, a huge selection of gifts and whiskies and a nice little restaurant attached to it to.

Must visit as a tourist passing anywhere around Aberfoyle.

Really liked it here and it has just about all the gift selections you could want. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the cafe has a pet friendly area so you can sit with your dogs in the dry and serves good takeaway coffee if you prefer. There is outside seating available for dry days. The premises have a large carpark and plenty of bins for your rubbish. Sadly the outside show was not on when I visited but the stadium looked impressive. Great shop, well worth a visit when in Aberfoyle. Recommended.

Really liked this shop - especially the crafting shack out front for local, handmade products. I picked up some skeins of wool yarn for my next project. They even had yarn and lamb skins from their own sheep! Undone the main store were a large selection of commercial gift items.

This is a superb place. There is a great mixture of shopping, viewing, learning and just having a great time. You can shop in the gorgeous Edinburgh woollen mill, you can enjoy some good food in the cafe, sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, view animals and just have a great time. We watched sheep getting sheered, the kids could run around and play in the play area or watch the animals, some would even come to be stroked and mum and dad can sit on the bench, enjoy a cool beverage and have some time to chat.

The food is great, the service is good, seeing the animals and learning something about then is fantastic and you can buy some gorgeous clothes. We have been there a few times now and every time it was a great experience.

A beautiful little place in the middle of a green area beside a mountain peak. You can play with the animals and get a quick snack. We could not hike in the area because of the rain but I bet it is a good hiking area. Our stop was only for an hour but you can spend days here.

We visit The Scottish Wool Centre often and find there's always plenty of deals on. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely place! Very friendly staff, huge choice of products.

Bargain after bargain! If you like outdoor clothing brands at massivly slashed prices, this is the place for you. Lots of choice and found most things I was looking for in my size. Added bonus: a decent selection of whisky and all at reasonable prices, which is rare in touristy locations in Scotland.

Lovely day wool centre has loads of amazing gifts. Cafe was good staff friendly and helpful. Worth a visit. I've not been in spring but you can see the lambs up close and personal. So take the kids.

Good place to relax and enjoy the day. Its okay to bring the whole family here, they have playground and good views

Popped in for a cuppa with my sister yesterday and half way back to Glasgow, realised that I had left my phone in the cafe. Phoned, and although they were closed, a lovely, very helpful lady, Shirley, answered the phone, and searched for my phone for me. To my great relief, she found my phone and I returned today to collect it. One of my favourite places to visit, staff are always pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Nice place with fine products of wool. Waiting for an event with the sheep attraction but unfortunately raining had cancelled the event. Surroundings is a nice village with good food and beautiful scenery

Beautifull place to visit with family, lovely shop for traditional scottish clothes and souveniers. Cafe is special and got plenty of space to eat in. Whenever i travel to Scotland i always visit Aberfoyle and Wool centre.

Dog friendly bit out the back if your after coffee and scones etc. basically the same as all wool centres but this one actually has sheep and sheep dog shows for free.

Great place for a coffee. We watched the collie dog rounding up the ducks and ate ice cream. Dog and kid friendly.

Lovely big shop and restaurant, reasonable prices, have a separate eating area outside if you have dogs.

Great selection of different Scottish souvenirs plus Scottish foods. Lots of clothing too. Plus a cafeteria though they didn't seem to serve hot food just sandwiches and cakes.
