Macgregors Reviews

These two rolls n bacon from Liz Macgregors in Aberfoyle were truly exceptional. The rolls were freshly baked and had a perfect texture, combining chewiness with fluffiness. The bacon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The level of care and attention put into making these rolls was evident in their taste.
In addition, the portion size was generous. Each roll contained two thick slices of bacon, complemented by tomato sauce. It was a feast for the senses, and despite the large portion, the taste was so good that I managed to finish both rolls.
Overall, I would rate these rolls n bacon a perfect 10 out of 10. If you ever find yourself in Aberfoyle, I highly recommend seeking out these rolls - they are truly worth trying.

Had a nice lunch at Liz Macgregors in Aberfoyle. I ordered the fish and chips. The food was delicious and tasty with generous portion. There were plenty of indoor seatings and some outside the restaurant as well. They also have delicious treats and cakes. The restaurant was clean and the staff members were helpful and friendly.

Our favourite place to go in Aberfoyle for a bowl of soup. Occasionally splash out and have the baked potato or toasties. We love it here. The food is consistently well cooked, service is efficient and friendly. Always finish off our lunch sharing a cake with our coffee.

Great cafe. Food was really reasonably priced and dog friendly. Great selection of cakes to enjoy after a long walk. If it’s sunny a good location to sit and watch the world go by.

Excellent place with freshly baked home made cake, buns, and coffee. With great gluten free options. All reasonably priced. Also savoury snacks, lunches, toasties and sandwiches. In a lovely area. The people are really friendly and helpful to deal with. One to take note of. A lovely spot.

I had a wonderful experience here today. Stopped to get fish-and-chips and a tuna-onion-cheese sandwich for takeaway. The bill was less than £11.50 and the food was ready really quickly. It tasted great too.

We were walking down the high street looking for a a breakfast/brunch with the kids. We had checked the pub and some other places but decided on this one. It had a bit of everything we were looking for and the cakes looked absolutely delicious.
We sat down and were greeted by a very friendly server who advised us that we should sit down and he would come over to get our order.
The menu was great and gave a superb selection of toasters, sandwiches, full English and of course cakes. All cakes are made on the premise and you can taste it. They are fresh, delicious and very tempting. The scones are to die for and above all else the prices are very good.

We had a lovely visit today in the glorious sunshine. We had chocolate cake, lemon and elderflower and a scone with jam and cream (the octogenarian declared it one of the best he'd eaten) All were delicious along with a good cup of coffee. Reasonably priced, dog friendly and pleasant staff. The hot food looked super but sadly we only had time for a cake stop, but we'll try and sneak back! Thoroughly recommended.
