Great service. I had a faulty cat feeder that stopped working and which had an helpful 3 year guarantee. We received an immediate response from their customer services and due to the type of fault they offered a replacement. This sort of customer service is unusual these days, sadly, so it is very refreshing and unexpected to get such good service. Well done Closer Pets, I will certainly buy more products in the future and recommend to others based on this.

Needed a spare part which has been out of stock for quite some time, so I emailed them to enquire when they would be back in stock. They emailed back virtually straight away and said that a new shipment is expected but not for a little while, however, the lovely lady stated she had been able to procure one for me and to give her a ring. I duly rang her and she arranged the order & shipment and even took the payment and said it would be dispatched that day. This indeed happened and the item promptly arrived this morning exactly when they stated it would arrive. I am very IMPRESSED with this company going the extra mile!

I bought a fish pond filter from this company ten years ago. I wanted some information about the filter so sent them an email. They responded to me the next day and gave me the advice I required. I haven't dealt with them for all this time, I haven't spent any money with them, and yet they helped me out, gave me the info I needed and were super quick with this information. Can not fault the customer service! Long may they carry on in business. AND the filter is still going strong after ten years!!!!

Great service, sent email to check which size replacement security panel we would need and reply received later that day. Ordered the panel that evening for it to arrive in less than 48 hours!

Ordered a couple of items on Thursday, free shipping and they came next morning.

I bought a pet fountain a few months ago which included one cartridge filter which I think is meant to last a month so disposed of after 4 weeks and ordered some replacement ones (pack of 6) a £13.99 which I thought was good value until I received them. The filters are half the size of the one which was included with the fountain and find they not lasting even a month (I assume when the sponge segments turn grey they are clogged and have to be replaced). I am now in two minds whether to continue using this product as the filters actually work out quite expensive and am now thinking its a bit of a con 😡

Terrible customer service. Short sighted. Advisor probably hates her job. I'd avoid at all costs. I suspect this brand will not be around much longer so I'd only buy from them if the item can't go wrong. (if the poor service received from Melanie Tozer isn't indicative of the team then I'm happy to change this review)

If I can give them 0 stars I would have.
Ordered an item from them, money quickly taken but I now need a replacement.
I have emailed them twice, sent a message through their website and called them 7 times over 2 working days and no one picks up.

Pretty poor quality products. I have had 2 pet mate microchip cat flaps, the first one stopped working within the 3 year warranty and was replaced. The second one didn't even make it to 18 months before it also died, however because the total time was greater than 3 years since I bought the first one petmate refused to offer a warranty replacement nor did they even offer a discount on a replacement as a gesture of good will.

Appalling customer service!
