Tesco Extra

Such wonderful friendly staff, always happy and willing to help they brighten up my day whenever I visit . I make a point to use this particular store because of the overall attitude from everyone that works there. Thanks to Steph and Nicki keep doing what you’re doing. Stuff like you make a very necessary part of every day life a complete pleasure.

5 stars from me, for the few times I visited this store.
There is a big car park here, restricted to 3 hours, there is a car wash ( not really the best one but will be ok if you need it ) there is loads of parking spaces, there is petrol station as well with self car wash and with hoover & air for tyres. I will say you find all you need here.
There is even a place to have your coffee chill.
Same price like all others Tesco's.

Just had a full breakfast in the new look Tesco Cafe and it was great. Hot, fresh and well cooked. Hot coffee to finish and I was a very satisfied chap. The new look cafe looks incredible. They have used large beams of rough sawn timber to give a distressed look, built in semi circular booths and square booths give a feeling of privacy and it looks and feels very interesting. The Tesco Cafes of old were really to be avoided but the new ones that have replaced them have a great menu, good value, and are comfortable. Good job Mr Tesco!

This is the best Tesco I've ever stumbled on. It's massive and the cafe is really nice.

We were driving on the A34 and needed to make an emergency unplanned stop to feed our daughter. The service here was so good and the prices obviously so much better than normal roadside services, that it's made us plan to stop here on future journeys

If you're looking for an amazing, cheap and convenient supermarket, Tesco Extra is the place for you. The quality is always amazing and the service is very polite. You really can't beat the value here.

After the induction of Lidl nearby, they have further reduce their prices in competition. Clothing section has drastically improved.

A large selection of goods with ample free parking. No matter what time you arrive, you will find parking. A petrol station is available along with a family restaurant. A nice place to do your shopping.

Very handy car park and this is a large store with a good hot food counter and fresh fish which is hard to find today. The toilets are well kept and staff are friendly and helpful.

Visit the cafe on a regular basis. Some times the food is hit and miss but whoever the chef was today made an amazing breakfast! Reasonably priced and good service.

Lots of free parking spaces for cars and parking rails for bicycles. Please note the free car parks had been restricted to 3 hours recently. It is located 1.5 miles from town centre and close to retail parks. A relatively large store, selling good value for money clothing and food. There is a free stall of fruits for young children, a novel idea.
Other services include a cafe, optician, pharmacy, Tesco Mobile, money changer and holiday sales within the store. Outside the store, it has an ATM machine, post box, a new photo shop, car washing facility and collection for recycle. Tesco actively involves in serving the Community.

New tills so you can scan yourself. Will take a little while to get used to them, but there's always a staff member to help you in the meantime

Great shop bit surprise they call it a Tesco's Extra when it's a massive supermarket. list of things to choose from and great prices. It's got a great Clothes department and toy department is a really nice shop. Only downside is it can be a nightmare to walk around when it's busy.

Almost like walking into a mamouth store in France, it seems to be huge. Well worth the visit.

When I was under the weather Tesco Extra Abingdon was the only one to offer myself any help Sainsbury and Boots didn't want to know shame on them the store is very clean well stocked and the staff so friendly and helpful.

Great choice, well stocked. Prices much higher than Aldi and Lidl though

The lady and young man on the scan as you go section on Sunday have always been so helpful!
