Great visit, staff were friendly.
We were served by Lucy covering the children's department, although not her usual role, still went above and beyond to make sure during our visit we purchased everything we were looking for.

I could not be more pleased with Izzi & Ashley service today. We came in half an hour before closing and they were super helpful and never made us feel rushed. We fell in love with a particular shade of orange curtains 🧡 and they hunted down the code and made sure it was the rigth shade and measurements for us. Super friendly, going the extra mile and perfect Costumer service.

This is a 2 part review, one for the Next shop at Hedge End and one for the Next Online shopping experience.

We were looking for some new bedroom furniture and popped into Next Hedge End to check the colour of what we were looking at. The shop had an end of display sale and we bought 2 items. Unfortunately this coincided with being unable to transport the furniture ourselves and the staff at Hedge End could not have been more helpful. They have a local transporter who we engaged to deliver the furniture and all was delivered on time and with great communications. So 5 ⭐ for Hedge End.

Later that week we ordered some additional pieces to match from Next's online store. We arranged delivery with building of the furniture for later that week. The day before the agreed delivery date Next called to say they could deliver as agreed but not build. We rescheduled delivery for t+4 days from the original date. The morning of the rescheduled day we received a text to say there were problems loading and the delivery may be delayed. Then later that turned into a cancelled delivery with delivery rescheduled for the following day.

The following day as the delivery slot was nearing its end without any sign of the delivery, I rang to check progress and was told the driver had been delayed. I then received a call from the driver telling me they would be with me in about 1 hour. 2 hours later I rang to find out what was occurring and was told that the driver had abandoned attempting to deliver our items at his own discretion citing a combination of restricted access and being in a larger lorry than expected as the reason. We don't have restricted access at all, we live on a main A road with parking directly outside the house on that road.

Speaking to Next to complain we now have the next possible with build delivery for us scheduled for t+13 days from the original plan. We agreed maximum compensation if 10 % of the purchase cost which does not compensate for the stress and inconvenience we've experienced.

Our experience with Next online has been appalling, I wish I'd taken the opportunity to have the items delivered without building when things first went south. It'll be a long time (if ever) before we shop online with Next. Zero stars deserved.

We still do not have a complete wardrobe. Next delivered and built yesterday but only got so far before they discovered missing parts and were unable to complete it. A whole second wardrobe is now being shipped to us later this week as Next claim they're unable to separate the necessary parts at the depot. The weight of transporting the entire wardrobe for the sake of less than 1 kg of parts is not in keeping with minimising their carbon footprint. Terrible just got worse.

Very big flagship store. Got self collection and self return machine. Very easy to use.

Never been here before parking 🅿 on site there are lift's and escalators in the building wide variety of clothing male and female kids too toilets and a Costa coffee ☕ shop popped in to get my daughter some summer 🌞 👡 sandals 🩴 plenty of choice here.

Lovely retail park. Next is a nice big store having home and clothing department. Also had a Costa inside which is quite nice after finishing your shopping!

Always enjoy visiting this store, clean,light and airy. All items are of a high standard and so much to choose from under one roof. I often visit for children's clothes ,have to set budget as they are all so lovely. Practical and clothes for special occasions.
They also have a lovely café, it's well worth a visit.

Gotta love a Next and this store is only made better by the helpful and friendly staff on hand to assist.

Great shop, plenty of stock and the in-house Costa gives me a bolt hole when the wife gets properly stuck in!

Needed to get some shorts for upcoming holiday. Good choice,staff very polite and helpful,layout makes it easy to find what you need. Clean in store and changing rooms.

Lovely Next store. Always clean and tidy. Sometimes a bit of a wait downstairs for collecting orders. Staff friendly and available stock usually good. Great bonus of Costa also having a coffee shop on site. I find the outdoor garden part not that great; but that’s personal preference. Would recommend.

Love this shop! Great layout of furniture, bathroom, clothes and shoes. They also have a Costa coffee but the service is quite slow. Next itself is fantastic.

I recently visited Whiteley Store (Sat 25 Feb) asking for a much loved nail varnish colour that was not on display. The Assistant kindly took the time to look to see if it was in stock and it was - so glad I asked. Thank you for taking the time to help.

Best kids school uniform ever the material is high quality

Love this store! Big, spacious and always very tidy. The Costa inside is always a plus. Lots of parking spaces. Huge childrens department, home and furniture and ladies footwear are also big with a large range of products. Small section of lingerie and sleepwear but can always order more on line.

Popped in for a coffee. Quick service and great drink
