M&S Foodhall

Went in after leaving Turnbulls empty handed after requiring steak. It's a good M&S food hall, well stocked and I came out with 2 beautiful looking Thick Cut Ribeyes with good marbling, that I can report after some expert cooking from yours truly went down beautifully.

As an added bonus I was given a free bunch of flowers whilst paying! A great act of kindness after my first week of living up here!! Love it!!

Light and airy. Loads of great choice. Free parking and friendly, helpful staff. And unlike a previous reviewer said (not sure how she could have missed them), always a huge selection of beautiful flowers bouquets and plants.

Everything you would expect from the brand. Nicely laid out with wide aisles and a good range of products. Plenty of parking too.

Great staff. Clothing and homeware can be ordered on line to pick up at this food hall. Saves me travelling to Morpeth M&S

Brand new store, friendly staff, great selection of food and plenty of parking. It is a little bit expensive but definitely worth the money for the food you get!

No cafe and no public toilet.

Great food hall. Unfortunately they hadn't had a delivery of my daughter's favourite apple turnovers today but still plenty to choose from. I also got a gift, card and gift bag for a friend's birthday. They have beautiful flowers and staff are very friendly.

As always, superb quality food at a price.
My wife's special treat the baked apple flavoured skyr yoghurt.

I’m so grateful for the M&S foodhall in Alnwick, the staff are very helpful, the food choice is excellent and all in all it’s great shopping experience. I’m a regular customer and can’t help wondering why there is a requirement for staff to stand outside to welcome customers particularly at quiet times. Today the girl was absolutely freezing (not that she was complaining). Other food shops in Alnwick don’t do this and most customers I’m sure are more than happy to clean their hands/trolleys as required. It just seems a bit hard on the staff who are already doing a great job in very difficult circumstances.

Lovely shopping experience, food first-class and plenty of choice and to top it all kind helpful staff willing to help. Two improvements that would add to the experience is a toilet and coffee shop where a weary old soul like me could sit and have a breather.

Not too crowded and very helpful staff. Lots of items not found elsewhere and quality is above average. Great produce and fruit.

Excellent selection of products, with some surprisingly good offers. Most people think M&S is expensive but their prices are not much different from your local Co-OP on many lines and the quality is always good.
