Stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee and it was lovely! Clean sitting area with nice decoration and really friendly staff. Massive menu so I'll be back to try their lunch menu! Really reasonably priced and they had a lovely latte :)

Been here a few times now. Always very good service with a smile. Breakfast rolls are the highlight for me.

Happened upon this small busy cafe/restuarant 1st time we had lunch 2nd time breakfast rolls and coffee. Trip to toilet was broken by the small collection of local artwork.

Great place, updated menu since last visit, good selection of food on offer. Well pleased all round, very tasty food, reasonably priced, very good staff. Definitely calling in again when next in castle Douglas.

Lovely homecooked food. The steak pie and the chicken & ham pie were delicious. We didn't get to try the many cakes on offer but they looked amazing. Oh! And the Douglas tartan carpet was a nice touch!!!

We had an excellent lunch, chicken haggis and cheese burgers (recommended). Staff very nice and friendly. Lovely and clean and good amount of seating. Thanks 👌

I love coming here.
It's always warm, both the welcome and the temperature and just a really comfortable place to visit.
The food is lovely too. I've had many things from scones & sandwiches to cake & scottish breakfasts and enjoyed them all.
Best cafe in town (and there are some very good others too)

Amazing staff that are very welcoming. Beautiful food served in a very reasonable time despite being busy when I was there. My only complaint is there wasnt enough. I wanted more after finishing my plate.

This is the second time that I have had lunch here. The tomato soup was excellent and the banoffi pie was really delicious.
The staff were attentive and friendly, the service was really great, even though the cafe was packed.
I will certainly be back again
