Pizza in the Skye

My son ordered a regular Margherita pizza and requested for some extra tomato sauce, but this is extremely hard to do because it could make the base too soggy. However, the chef added the perfect amount and the pizza was thin and flavourful! It was well-sized and delicious! The chef was very friendly and our pizza was ready in less than fifteen minutes! Even though it’s a small food truck on the outside, there is a proper wood-fired oven and overall this is an amazing well-rounded pizza truck in a beautiful area! A must go for any pizza lover!

Mark the chef is a top bloke, had a good wee chat about Led Zeppelin & Floyd.

A must visit if you visit Skye.

Delicious pizza served out of a food truck?! What! This guy has a legit fired pizza oven inside this cart! Delicious and quick and nicely priced. Don’t skip the garlic bread.

Delicious! My husband and I visited Pizza in the Skye during our two-day stay on the island. If we lived here, we would visit all the time! We ordered the garlic bread and two pizzas. The crust on all three was perfect and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Definitely order online ahead of time as this place is popular!

Chatting with the chef, one can tell he's super passionate about his craft and it shows. The pizza was excellent and I appreciated finding a place for a quick meal in the evening that didn't require a reservation or table service.

Amazing pizza, great conversation! We didn't have great cell service while traveling to order ahead, but it was worth the wait. The pizza was great, and garlic bread even better. We ordered extra for leftovers the next day which proved to be an excellent decision. Highly recommend!

Tasty pizza, a delight after a full day of hiking. There was a 45 minute wait for our order, but it was definitely worth it. The owner is really friendly, chatting with while we waited. I recommend trying out the pulled pork topping, it was really good.

Great little Takeout on the isle of Skye. Authentic Italian Wood Fire Pizza. Surprised that the pizza could be made free of Onion and Garlic for which I have an allergy.. Highly recommend. Also note that you order by text and you have to reserve a time for collection..

We got a pepperoni, ham and pineapple and the garlic bread. All were great! The owner was extremely nice and we chatted as we waited for our food. He gave us good information about the area for dinner too. Nice spot outside of the chaotic parking that is portree. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic little take away pizza van! We bought pizzas from the lovely owner, and had a nice chat! The pizza was made fresh and amazing quality! I had a very tasty veggie pizza with cheesy garlic bread. It was super easy to order online and collect. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best places we ordered from while in Portree. Delicious, fast, and very reasonably priced pizzas. Everything was fresh and the crust was perfect. Had the opportunity to talk with the owner a bit as well, he’s a really great guy! Definitely check Pizza in the Skye out while you’re here.

Great place run by a top bloke, had to wait 10 minutes for him to get a delivery unloaded for which he threw in a free garlic bread for the inconvenience. Now that's service! Pizzas were amazing and price was crazy cheap. Highly recommended

I'm glad we found this little gem of a food truck. All pizzas are freshly made to order with homemade dough and taste absolutely amazing! There are a variety of toppings to choose from and there's even vegan cheese! I hear pre booking is advised but we were able to get ours within 20 minutes after just showing up.

Fantastic food!!! Unlikeliest of locations. Friendly guy. Very frank about how long it will take. Tasty fresh fresh pizza. Lots of vegetarian toppings. Highly recommend.

This pizza was so good & so was the garlic bread. Definitely worth a wait & the guy running it is very kind. We stumbled across it on maps when looking for food after the fairy pools & didn’t know it was a food truck. Luckily, a shinty game was going on & we got to watch that while we ate. It hit the spot!

Tasty food at a decent price! The chef was very accommodating, kind and enthusiastic about his food.

Really delicious pizza. Make sure to order early to avoid disappointment! Completely unassuming location but the pizza and bruchetta are absolutely amazing and highly recommended. You can choose your own toppings.

Cool little find hiding away in Portree. Friends picked up pizza from here and it was incredible! All the food is made right in the food truck, made from scratch and baked in his pizza oven. Will be eating from here again!
