Possibly the best cake I’ve had anywhere - and I’ve had a lot of cake! Espresso is SUPERB and my fiancé had a delicious locally foraged tea. Absolutely fantastic cafe. Quality is outstanding. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled mainly because of the 🔔🔚 who wrote the 2* review below… some people eh. 😅

This IMHO serves the best coffee in Skype, and possibly in our NC500 trip! Had the Flat White which was awesome and very flavorful. They also served some light eats. I had the blueberry, feta and crushed cashew on sourdough toast - lovely combo of sweet savory creamy rich on crunchy toast. Highly recommended!

So after a little Google this place comes up highly rated, and oh how correct is this. A cute little cafe in the middle of Portree. Attentive and friendly staff! Quick food delivery and oh how good it tasted! I could wait to take my photo of my flat white and main together so excuse the pictures. The flat white was a proper flat white! Not a tiny latte as you usually find! The scrambled egg and chorizo was AMAZING! Thank you so much for the amazing visit. I shall be returning on my next trip to Skye.

I had a pleasant experience at this coffee shop. The coffee exceeded my expectations with its rich flavor. It's definitely a cut above others in the area. The shop is cozy, but the decoration and ambiance could use some improvement. It's a bit hard to spot from the outside due to minimal signage, so Google Maps was a lifesaver in finding it!

Called in by chance couple of times last week & the coffee was excellent - I genuinely think it's the best coffee I've ever had & will be ordering some online. Definitely recommend as the staff were lovely & the cakes were fab too. Wish we had one near us.

Stunning interior, extremely good coffee. Would fit in swimmingly in the West End of Glasgow. Highly recommend to anyone needing an excellent coffee and brilliant caramel shortcake. Flat white is the best type of coffee, order anything else at your peril.

Great little cafe, coffee was excellent. Small but very high quality food menu to choose from (see photo attached to the review) as well as a great selection of cakes! Would definitely recommend to anyone near Portree.

Fantastic specialty coffee! Roasting there own beans and doing it with perfection. I can’t recommend this cafe more! We also had a chocolate blueberry muffin and it was great. Stop here when in Portree! :)

What a great place! Very good specialty coffee and delicious muffins. A little bit different to other places in Portree, pop in if you care about the quality of food and coffee 🖤

A small cafe coping well with huge amounts of tourists. The small menu is done well, the coffee was great ( I had 2) and the poem opposite was uplifting and emotionally moving. Everything has been prepared and presented well and served on or in great ceramics, someone here really cares about quality.

What an unexpected find on the Isle of Skye! The grilled asparagus on the salad was ridiculously good - they should start serving it as a stand-alone dish. The filter was excellent too. Their roastery is down the street, open to visitors. Hope to make it there next time!

A very cute and cozy place in Portree. The food is divine and delish. We ordered:
1. the scrambled eggs on toast and a mushroom duxelle.
2. Scrambled eggs with chorizo
3. Tomato basil soup with sourdough bread.

The eggs were cooked to perfection 😋
And the tomato basil soup was fantastic. The cashew butter was a first - but totally delish.

The service is most excellent.

Our favourite coffee in all of Scotland. We couldn't stop coming back here in our short time on Skye. In two days I think I ate 3 meals here and had 4 coffees, then ordered beans for takeaway! So worth a visit.

A very cozy and relaxed place for coffee. Service was fast and breezy. Simple and amazing food. Coffee was so good that we had to order another for takeaway. Definitely recommended!

Lovely place – great vegan options, very kind staff. The music lets you calm down after the stress that comes with traveling. Take the spot at the bench right in front of the window if you have the chance. This way you'll enjoy the view at the beautiful mural just across the street.

Service, food and drinks were great (especually the hummus sandwiches - I'm hooked!), everything appeared fresh each day. Vegetarian/Vegans won't struggle to find something delicious here!

It can get quite busy, but there are plenty of places to sit, and places nearby too if you aren't into crowds (we had breakfast at Birch and then took some sandwiches, cakea and drinks out for lunch 😄).

This coffee shop is amazing! I am a coffee snob (per my wife) and I was still impressed with the quality of everything from their coffees to their teas. Make sure to try some of their baked goods as well as those were out of this world!
