Got coffees with some lunch including vegan moussaka and a smoked salmon scrambled egg bagel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lots of specials on the wall as well as the normal menu.
Would definitely recommend to other people travelling to Portree

What a great find. Staff were lovely, place was so clean, food was tasty, and so much to choose from. A fantastic range of teas and coffees. My favourite thing? The little salt and pepper pots...

Fantastic cafè!
The staff was welcoming and friendly. They let me start for a few hours as I replanned my trip.
They serve breakfast all day, and have a variety of lunch options.
The atmosphere is cozy and bright. Plenty of natural lighting, and excellent variety of plants.
I cannot recommend stopping here enough!

Stopped off in Portree en route to catch the ferry from Uig and spied this cute little cafe for a spot of breakfast. I had the small breakfast where you can pick 5 items and a latte. Cleaned my plate! It was so good we stopped off here on our way back down to Fife. Bacon roll this time and equally good. The interior is bright and well decorated and the staff and really friendly. I love all the unique salt and pepper pot combinations across the different tables too. Highly recommend!

Very cute spot with pretty views if you can get to a window! It was quite busy when we came in, about a 10 minute wait. When we did get seated it was fairly quick to get our food but our drinks came a bit after the food instead of the other way around. The smoked salmon quiche was delicious and the Aztec hot choco had a delightful amount of spice.

Yummy, hearty food with a warm smile we went back twice! First a warm breakfast bagel 🥯 with scrambled egg 🥚 and smoked salmon, hot chocolate and a double espresso ☕.
We had to wait in line when we came back for lunch. Super popular spot!
NB: Highly recommend their pulled pork.

We had to wait a few minutes to get a table due to the popularity of the place. Good quick service customer care from the staff. The Scottish breakfast delicious and well presented plus ordered the hot chocolate to go with it. The place was very clean and a good view from the window over looking the sea.

Had to wait a bit to get a table but worth it. Really nice staff. Quick service. Really good food. Lots of vegetarian options. The vegetarian burger was amazing.

The food was amazing (the scones are fresh and delicious 😋)! The atmosphere was cozy and you can't top the view (make sure you sit by the window if possible). The staff is nice and the bathrooms are clean! Highly recommend 👌🏽

We popped in for lunch and this ended up being our favorite eating place in Portree. The atmosphere is so cheery and bright and I'm convinced we had the best seat in the house overlooking the harbor. Service was excellent and food was delicious. We both had the tuna and it hit the spot! I tore into my food and forgot to take a picture until it was almost gone!

This is the cafe with the best Halloween 🎃 decoration I've seen. We found it by accident, but it made my day. Everything was perfect - from the atmosphere to the coffee and the food. Me and my wife both tried English/Scottish breakfast(The Big Breakfast Plate) and it was delicious ☕ 🍳. The coffee offerings were interesting and the coffee was very good. Everything was decorated beautifully, even the toilets 😁.

We were just looking for a place to have a coffee, ended up having smoked salmon bagel with scrambled eggs and coming back again because of the best smoked salmon ever taste. Somewhere from Fort William producer. Not shy to put decent amount of salmon nor eggs. They have many more option for food and everything sounds delicious and big portions.
It was always busy, staff was very friendly and they deserve to be tipped. Thank you all. ❤

Amazing breakfast place with views of the water. We got the breakfast special and the Scottish breakfast. Everything was made to perfection. Probably the best latte you will find in town. A must do. Get there early or there shall be a wait.

Not what you would expect. This is NOT a Mexican cafe. But the food is still delightful.

It had been an exceptionally windy and wet day and I just needed some 'real' food. I hit jackpot when I found this little place by complete chance. We were met with such warm and friendly service and our little dog loved all the attention. The menu was brilliant and I found it really hard to choose. I ordered a warm salad with pot of a sweet chi tea. This dish doesn't get any more wholesome. My boyfriend had the filo pie which he also loved.
I'd eat here again in a heartbeat!

It's really difficult to find something nice in Isle of Skye. And this place is one of a kind! The menu isn't massive but it's well designed for every taste. I enjoyed my meal and can recommend everyone to go there. Lovely staff and atmosphere 👌 well done you

Perfectly situated little cafe by the bay in Portree, wonderfully decorated in casual bohemian style, thoughtfully appointed. Extremely friendly and accommodating team, actively welcoming to dogs which is a big draw too. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 coffees, and without sounding too pretentious, the oat lattes alone are worth it; not had one that good probably in the northern hemisphere. The breakfasts are great, with traditional Scottish sausage, black pudding, and *proper* bacon. The ingredients are evidently sourced with care and thoughtfulness to local suppliers, and worthy of note also is the exceptional vegetarian menu as well. We were tempted by all the home cooked baked goods on offer as well, but because we were off on a long walk directly after we weren’t sure it would survive! Next time definitely 😋. If you can nab a table by the windows, you’re treated with a vista that leaves you slack jawed with the immense beauty of the Scottish lochs and landforms.

Also worth of mentioning and repeating is just how friendly the team were; we came in wet and covered in snow with two wet dogs, and felt quite self conscious about how wet we were, and the ladies on hand couldn’t have been more welcoming. Please, next time you’re exploring Portree, take the time to stop by at Cafe Arriba and sample their fare; let me know how good the cakes are! 😛
