Outstanding service, amount of food and exceptional quality too. If we lived nearer we would DEFINITELY return. Steak pie was perfect - the staff are hard working and friendly. The local RNLI was eating here too - if they eat here then that shows how brilliant it is.

We’ve just had a meal at The Ship and it was nothing short of fabulous! (2 adults and 3 children) Food was excellent, served very quickly, great quality and so reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and polite and the restaurant is beautifully presented… make sure you take your phone with you to the toilet…. Total amazing photo opportunity! Won’t ruin the surprise!! 😀 Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great reasonably priced meal! Certainly family friendly! Thank you so much! We will be returning!

Had a really gorgeous lunch here with my wife and young boy. We had crab toast, mussels, fish and chips and a kids meal and drinks. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful with fast and efficient service.
It's got a nice vibe inside. Cosy and modern without anything over the top.
Great spot and we'd really recommend it.

Lovely little place overlooking the water. Food was hot and delicious. I had the fish and chips (real chips!) and my husband had the macaroni cheese - honestly never tried macaroni that good! Friendly staff and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to get something to eat whilst beside the harbour. If you like crab the recommend the crab on toast . I've eaten loads and loads of seafood and have to say that this is probably the 2nd best crab on bread I've ever eaten. Highly recommended place to eat out . Also dogs are allowed in the outside tables and just inside , keep dogs off tables though but very dog friendly place .

Didn't eat - just had drinks. Lovely place and nice atmosphere- the hallway to the loos is something else! Great pint of real ale and dog friendly. Spot on.

Absolutely LOVELY experience. Waiters accidentally brought our mains and starters at the same time so fish was sent back to kitchen to be kept warm- they apologised maybe 5 times! Every part- starter, main, dessert, drinks were exceptional. My friend Julia said "that fish was a religious experience" and I agree. Absolutely fantastic. We are SO FULL. :)

A very small little excellent place to eat. Just near to the fisherman wharf. Excellent choices on the menu. Definately recommend the Bangkok style veg burger on the specials. The fries were excellent as well. Nice selection of drinks as well. One most attractive part was the toilet facilities which is made to look like a forest with some good humour posted on the doors 😄

We went for an early dinner, I had the steak pie which was superb, tasty and just the right amount for a main meal. My son had Mac n Cheese which he said was one of the best he has ever had and everyone loved the chips whether it was the chunky ones or fries. Service was quick, although it was quiet when we arrived it did become busier and the prices are a little higher than other places in the area, but in our opinion well worth the money. When we are back in the area this will be the first port of call for dinner. Highly recommend.

First time at The Ship today. Arrived at 3:35pm and the lady served us quickly as lunch ended at 4. Thankfully for her prompt service we had ordered and sat with drinks within 15mins. Happy days! The food came quickly too. It was absolutely amazing!! We will defo defo be back. Thanks so much to all the staff!

Lovely restaurant. Service was excellent. Good choice on the menu. Service was speedy. Food was excellent. Haggis bon bon with the chicken burger was super tasty. Wish I'd had a bowl full of those!

We spent a week in Eyemouth and this was our go to pub. The food was delicious (try the haggis bon bons). Reasonably price for the quality of the food. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden and bar area.

We're been here a few times, and the food is always great, as are the waiting staff. When we are in Eyemouth, we always go there.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner ! The Steak pie was absolutely delicious as was the deserts highly recommended this excellent place to eat ,will definitely return!

Friendly & welcoming service. Nice fresh modern decor. Good choice menu. Fish was absolutely amazing. Dog is allowed in the bar. Doggie menu also available. Definitely will be back next time we are here.

Touring through and we decided to stop here on a whim. Foods and service was excellent.

After a day in Glasgow, I needed a place to stay on the way to Newcastle the following day and found The Ship in Eyemouth, First thing that I do is read the reviews and there are many positive ones like this so it was booked and upon receiving directions and instructions to my room to make this a complete safe covid free booking in I was greeted with a very spacious and immaculately clean room with a good shower and fantastic view of the Harbour, there is also free parking at the rear and payed parking along the Harbour,
After a good walk around Eyemouth which is beautiful with plenty of history I decided to visit the bar and restaurant which again is as the room very spacious with a good variety of seating and the right lighting to enjoy the evening, I ordered the Fish n Chips as Haddock was on the menu, my favourite, got to say it was absolutely delicious and piping hot to the last bite cooked in a tasty batter served with skinned chips and garden peas, all served up by delightful, friendly staff.
If you don't pay The Ship a visit you'll be missing out..
