The Heathers Restaurant

If getting the Lemon Sole, make sure it's breaded and not battered as the breadcrumbs are very light and don't conceal the beautiful taste of the fish. Went for lunch one day, then dinner the next day, the scallops and black pudding were exquisite.

Excellent views of the golf course and Eyemouth Harbour.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise did we found in Heaters Restaurant. Sde drive up there was beautiful but the views en the food where even better!
We really enjoyed the seafood platter that George wipt up for us even we did get by unannounced. Great staff great food great location! If I where you I would go there!!!

It's not far from the A1 and worth the diversion.

I've not mentioned the views... well, they can't be beaten. An unobstructed view of the sea from the whole side of the restaurant is unsurpassed.

I had the Scampi... simply divine. Later, we spoke to the chef, he was an ex-fisherman on the local boats... he peeled the Scampi himself. There are no processed or ready made options here.

One of the best seafood platter I've ever eaten. Food is fresh and tasty, the portions generous and prices honest. Staff really friendly and chef George knows what he's doing. Definitely will go back.

Had dinner at the heathers restaurant and it was beyond amazing! We had the mozzarella sticks for start and the fresh haddock for our mains would 100% come back again

Fantastic gluten free choices with stunning views across to Eyemouth harbour, Coldingham sands and St Abbs. Enjoyed absolutely delicious gluten free scampi and chips. Lovely to watch the swallows swooping outside and a roe deer on the hill.

Absolutely amazing place, great staff. We stayed in our campervan, itis dog friendly. Even have an allocated place for the dogs to join you inside. Beautiful views, definitely visit again. Even allow you to hook up with eletric, also spotted dolphins along the coast

We had lovely fish and chips and the service was very efficient. The ambiance is quite stark but that's to be expected in a golf club.
Wonderful views of the eyemouth coastline which is why I gave it 5 stars.

Restaurant that serves seafood. Fresh from the harbour. Best in the borders. Good portion sizes and reasonable price. Friendly staff. Cannot praise it enough.

Staff all very helpful, with real food that tasted delicious. We had Sunday lunches, steak pie, children's chicken nuggets, and pudding, too. Will definitely recommend and be back again.

We got there shortly after our opened and do our was very quiet. Rick subic and there were plenty of gluten free options. The fish was beautifully cooked and treated great. Chips were excellent and everything was freshly cooked and hot.

Whilst holidaying nearby, we decided to take the opportunity and have the night off cooking and sample some local fish. The Heathers restaurant was easy to book and the staff were accommodating and welcoming from the minute we arrived.
We are a family of five and our youngest son Lewis has severe learning difficulties and autism. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and we could relax in the presence of the wonderful staff.
Nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely delicious. We even got to sample some scampi whilst our meals were being cooked and prepared.
Our young waiter was brilliant with our son and spoke to him with kindness and compassion…..not always an experience we’re used when out in restaurants.
The barman was also very friendly and answered all Lewis’s questions and took an interest in what he was watching on his iPad.
It’s outings like this that make all the difference and mean we have a great holiday and for that we’re very grateful.
Top marks for food and customer service. We’d highly recommend.

Well what a pleasant surprise. We called here on the off chance, as we were looking around for some lunch. We hadn't realised that it was a fish restaurant. All I can say is if you are in the area go. The food is fantastic and a great value. All the fish is fresh and the owner really does know his stuff, about sea food and where his produce comes from. He is an ex-fisherman himself, and still has a passion for the sea. The staff are attentive without being in your face. If you are in the area, it is definitely a place to go.
