Lovely shop/cafe full of hand made treats and sandwiches. Really nice stop off to refuel and get some snacks. They also have some cheeses and jams etc. veggie vegan and gluten free options

One of the nicest little cafes I have ever visited! Everything is home cooked and freshly made! Absolutely loved visiting here. I had a pulled pork, cheese, mustard and pickle toastie! It was huge! My wife and friend had a cheese and pate platter! The small one! it was huge! The bread was also home made! Impressed. Highly recommend! Off the charts amazing! Thanks will visit on way home! Thanks!

What a gem this place is. Made some standard bakery purchases, sausage roll, flapjack, apple&cinnamon roll and doughnut which was all delicious. Staff are welcoming and helpful.
The piece de resistance comes on Saturday evening. I can honestly say it’s the best pizza we had ever had. If I return to wales on a Saturday, I will go out my way to make this trip because i felt like crying when I’d eaten it all. Chefs Kiss 🤌🏻

Gorgeous rarebit, fried chicken tenders and red onion, hot sandwich. Hubby had the barbecued duck pasty. Ate it out on the street looking through the antique shop windows on a sunny day. £6 for both. Quite stunned by the good value for money! The guy who served us gave us spot on directions of how to get to the old forge with it's waterwheel and waterfall up the road. This place had a cheese counter too!

We had 5 different pizzas. Everyone of them was exceptional with fresh generous toppings at an unbelievably cheap price for the quality. Highly recommended will definitely revisit when again in the area.

We stopped off here last night on the way back from climbing Snowdon and thought we'd try the pizzas they offer on Saturday night.

My god they were delicious, generously topped at a really reasonable price and served with a smile. So happy we chose here, highly recommend a visit!

Best pasties I’ve had in Wales, full to the brim. But best of all is the service! I left my wallet outside and they picked it up, searched me out and posted it back to me. How kind! Thank you.

I had to call in after seeing the cakes through the window which looked delicious
I was not disappointed after trying one with a lovely coffee, The lady who served me was also great for a bit of friendly banter
I will defiantly call in again when working in the area

Stopped here for a sandwich and a cake during a bike trip. I ordered a large sandwich and ended up being given two sandwiches. Also ordered a slice of flapjack and was given two slices. All for about a fiver. It was all absolutely delicious too. Best sandwich shop I’ve been to for as long as I can remember. Only negative is it’s not located where I live.

Thanks too to the guy behind the counter who came to ask if everything was OK when I was outside fixing my bike before going into the shop.

Worked in food industry my whole working life, this place does the best panini I have ever had full stop, stopped in for a coffee on the drive home and was completely
Blown away by the black bomber panini. Would recommend anyone nearby go and try it, bread is insanely high quality, caramelised onions were done to perfection

There is more to this place than meets the eye... Looks like a bakery on the outside but inside is a tea room / restaurant. The food we had was quite genuinely the very best food I have ever eaten! The service by all members of staff was above and beyond the call of duty too ... Carol in particular was very patient, friendly and engaging with our youngest daughter. Eat here, you won't be disappointed.

What's not to say, the food here is excellent, friendly staff, you may have to queue to get in to buy something, but it is worth it. Great value for money, wide range of food to eat in or take away. Welsh rarebit to die for!

The best food I've had in years. I visited after experiencing the vegan strudel made here while staying at a friend's, and had to stop in to buy one on the way home. We ate in, and there was nothing at all we could fault. The automatic bifold doors and wheelchair lift were a pleasant surprise, the place smells divine, and the food is incredible. I chose a small toastie with cheddar, bacon and chicken for under £4. It came with coleslaw and green salad, in home made bread, and was toasted to perfection on a proper toasting machine. The staff are welcoming and accomodating, and the prices are fabulous. Great deli food, but also other local items such as Welsh tea, black garlic ketchup and a wide selection of local cheeses, including Red Devil. Card orders taken for purchases over £10.

Delicious vegetarian and vegan food. The Saturday night pizzas are to die for, but order by 8:30pm to be sure not to miss out.

Artisanal-type bakery and café with an astonishing selection of amazing sweet and savoury baked things at the chilled counter. The cakes have to be seen to be believed : enormous and cheap. Also great bread and outstanding coffee.

What a little gem. Saw the menu on the window and as there were others waiting we thought maybe it was good. Not good, fantastic. Not 4.7 it's a definite 5 out of five for the paninis. The filling and the panini bread were spot on. Thankyou.
