Midfield Holiday & Residential Park

My Welsh wife and I checked in at the Midfield Caravanning and Residential Park in Aberystwyth SA23 4DX on Tuesday 02nd April 2024 with our two small pet dogs and my nephew, his wife and their six year old daughter. We travelled in our motor home while my nephew’s family in our Urban Escape 4 person tent. Unfortunately it started to rain by about 6pm only to get heavier which let rain in to make their overnight stay very uncomfortable! When he made enquiries from Alison, lady who manages the family run business about the possibility of renting a static caravan for the remaining two nights which would have cost £120, she very kindly gave one which her children use as a play area free! It is such a magnanimous offer we had not come across before ! My nephew’s family and both of are extremely grateful to Alison! The site is located in a tranquil setting, very well maintained with clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities!

This is a great campsite. We called only an hour or so before turning up and it wasn’t a problem, especially on bank holiday weekend. The lady who ran it (sorry didn’t catch your name) was super friendly and very helpful. Absolutely amazing views from our pitch!! Think maybe the whole of Wales could see our bright yellow van too haha!! Thank you!!

Stayed 2 nights. Couldn’t of been made welcomed anymore. Owner was lovely and helpful. Small caravan park but lovely. Play area for kids in the middle which was again small but kids loved it.
Did feel it was a tad too quiet for us as a family but very very friendly people on site. Shower and toilets were dated but kept clean and all usable. More than enough on site.
Very clean site enough spacing between caravans also.
Not far from all shops and beach which was a bonus. Very steep hills but that’s Aberystwyth for you.
Great price, great owners and lovely quiet atmosphere. Thank you for letting us stay on site this weekend :)

A really nice site, we turned up on the off chance of a pitch on a bank holiday Monday and was greated by the friendly owner. We only stayed one night £30 and included EHU. The showers were hot and was a very clean toilet block. Nice views over looking Aberystwyth. Would recommend.

What a fab site. Stayed in our Motorhome for 1 night, pitch fee includes ehu. Fab showers and separate cubicle so room to get changed. Lovely adjustable heat and continuous water. Slightly dated shower block but immaculately clean. Dog friendly with private dog field, lovely walks nearby. Close to Morrisons. Pitched at the top so stunning views over Aberystwyth. Defo stay again.

This caravan park has been a family run business since the early 1960's . Now it is 3rd generation who are running it . Alison is a very friendly lady , and herself and husband keep the site in great condition.
The toilets and showers are spotless, as is the washing up / washing, drying area.
We stayed at the top of the site in a touring caravan, we needed blocks to get level, but most caravanners would carry them anyway...
The views are something else ....we were looking at beautiful countryside from the front windows and over Aberystwyth from the side....simply gorgeous!
Viewed some fantastic sunsets....
It is only a 5min drive into town, very handy indeed. Would recommend anyone to stay here ....We will be back ! 🤗😎

Beautiful site with fantastic views of Aberystwyth and surrounding countryside. Owner really helpful and shower block very clean with lots of hot water.

Nice place overlooking the coastal area. Hot showers toilets clean.
Would go again at later date. All you need on sight for motorhome stay.

Weve just had 4 lovely days at midfield.its very clean and quiet site .we pitched up the top of the site and the views were of the sea and the hills we be booking again. many thanks

Bernard and Sheila bent over backwards to help us when the electrics blew in our van . The views, the peace and facilities all comforting.

Friendly staff, very clean place, without a spot of dirt or grime. Very well kept.

This is a little gem of a site and beyond spotless it was immaculate.
Will be going back soon and ideal for the seafront
