The staff here are extremely polite and friendly and know theirs stuff especially when it comes to the desserts! I had the ribeye steak for my mains and it was cooked spot on to how I asked

We held our wedding reception here and I can not praise and thank them enough! They took time out to set the area up for us, cooked amazing food, brilliant value for money, staff are super friendly and very helpful.
We also had an evening meal a different evening and breakfast the next day it was all delicious.
100% recommend, great place, we will be back!

Really lovely atmosphere, music is at a good level, quick service and brilliant food. Waitress was very attentive and friendly and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Holly was brilliant couldn’t have asked for a nicer and better server

Was great to see that the pub was dog friendly so we could take our pooch inside to their dog friendly area!
All of the food we had was piping hot and delicious, I particularly loved the buttermilk chicken starter.
The pub has some really friendly staff and was really lovely and clean. It has definitely improved since the new manager has taken over and Kayla our server was fantastic.
We will definitely come back.

Fantastic food, quick friendly service. Really impressed by the veggie roast and the chocolate brownie was one of the best I've ever eaten.

Had Christmas day lunch here. The food was amazing and lots of it. The service was first class, attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely come again, when we revisit the area again. Thank you for making our Christmas, special

I would give more than 5 starts if I could. Friendly staff, fantastic vibe, the food was just perfect and there is great choice for drinks. We visited quite a few places in Aberystwyth and this is the best place to eat, have drinks and enjoy a chilled atmosphere. It’s great for kids too! Keep up the good work guys!

We use the Starling Cloud quite often as a meeting place for family (2 hour drive each way for all). The service is always excellent, as is the food. Special mention to staff member Jess, who always brings a smile and makes you feel like the only customers she has.

Booked a meal for 7 people and I have to say I was extremely impressed. Having not eaten at the Starling Cloud for some time due to previous issues with quality of food and poor service, I was a bit guarded but the food was absolutely top quality and the service from Charlie and her colleagues was excellent. I would highly recommend going here for food, you won’t be disappointed.

Room 6 on the ground floor at rear of building was a modern room clean and quiet at night, it had a king size bed with a comfy mattress and bedding, Air con, hairdryer, tea coffee making facilities with biscuits, USB sockets next to bed, free WiFi and parking, located in a sperate building to the pub which serves good food at very reasonable prices. Good choice on menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Breakfast is good too. Staff were great. Exceptional for the money. I paid £50 for the double room only for a Friday night.

Had a fantastic overnight stay here. The food was absolutely delicious and high quality and the staff were incredibly friendly who went out of their way to help us. Thank you!

When booking through phone it was very pleasant and helpful. Website was confusing as there is a spelling mistake.
On arrival Very helpful staff, pleasant and catered for all.
Food was lovely and drinks too.
Wasn’t too busy which made it lovely.
Toilets did have some rubbish on the floor and rock candy, that made the place look dirty. I picked the rubbish up, but there wasn’t a bin in the toilet basin area.

We arrived and had booked a table for four . We ordered our meals but we’re told they had sold out of what we had ordered . This was fine as we ordered different meals instead The staff went above and beyond to make our visit most memorable and I can’t thank them enough . They’re so hard working and extremely attentive. We will be going back every chance we get . Thank you again for a fantastic afternoon

Hey my daughter is in University in Aberystwyth and as it was her 21st Birthday I asked her where she wanted to go for lunch, she said she'd been to Starling Cloud a few times and enjoyed it, so I rang them and booked for 15, they asked me for a pre order which was fine, we arrived they promptly took our drinks order and the food came out promptly too! everything was present and correct, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and can't wait to come back, thank you Starling Cloud

Very quick service. What we ordered was very good with crispy chips. Steak was very good and cooked to order. My chicken was a generous portion. Would go back if in Aberystwyth again.

A wonderful Xmas Day lunch. Staff excellent expecially Phoebe who had masterminded such a special day .

We go here most Tuesday’s for dinner. Food is consistently good. Service is accurate and timely. Nice to have a kid’s corner available.

Since Grant and Kayla took over the starling Cloud there's been big changes ..
Jess and Phoebe front of house providing excellent personal service ..a good team all round . The food is great , Sunday lunch is good .. the 2 course lunch menu great Value and the pie and pint night and burger and pint night are great deals too.

From start to finish a wonderful experience. Jess made us welcome, sorted our drinks promptly, was helpful with food order for my granddaughter and told girls where to get pens and paper to draw. She came back after food arrived to ensure all was ok. She told us about forthcoming events too! Agreat service, wonderful staff and we will definitely be back!

The room was clean comfortable and warm , I had a lovely shower in the morning you can’t ask for any more
