This shop is absolutely fantastic. From a DIY perspective I don't think it can get any better than this locally.

They have everything you need including, paints, power tools, garden tools, sprays and solvents, handles, nuts, bolts, screws, nails and so much more.

Far better to go here than any other multinational hardware/ DIY store. Truly a local gem and worth supporting with your money!

Helpful and know what they're talking about. All my deliveries from them have been when they said. Their product and local knowledge is fantastic. If you're within 20 miles of Cheddar use them. I can't sing their praises enough. The last of the old school!! Love'em

One of those fabulous small places that seems to have everything you need and if you can't find it, then the staff are always ready to help. I try to spend my money locally - but with competitive prices and less travel, it saves me to buy here too.

Very friendly staff who know how to have a good laugh. If they don't have the item in store they will try sourcing it for you. They will let you know the availability of the item as well as the price.
Their internet department is also very good, the items will be sent out the next day and in some cases the same day as receiving the order. If there is any problems the staff will promptly let you know.

Collected new dehumidifier yesterday - unfortunately without checking it included the necessary absorbent cartridge - no problem to Maunders, as today they replaced the missing cartridge PLUS one EXTRA for my trouble!!

If Carlsberg did hardware shops... this is your proper hardware shop, if you just want a handful of nails you can get them here - just about anything else? They'll have it. Don't go to B&Q - support your small local businesses!

Great, knowledgable staff, with reasonable prices for convenience on your doorstep, why bother going to wickes?
Support your local assets, when there gone, they're very rarely replaced.

The staff are knowledgeable and always helpful. Prices reasonable, often better than local competitors - but it's worth paying a bit extra to support a local company.

They seem to have anything you need. Like an Aladdin's cave. Staff obliging and helpful and you don't need to go out the village. Been going there nearly 50 years.
