Had a fantastic carvery meal for my Mam's Birthday, I perhaps filled my plate a little much 🙂 The food was delicious and the service and the atmosphere was brilliant. They even sang 'Happy Birthday' with us. Thank you for a lovely evening to remember 👍

Excellent. The best buttermilk chicken burger I've ever had. The music in the restaurant was also great. Brilliant service from the staff; they were very on point. Very reasonable pricing. No complaints.

We had a very enjoyable visit to this establishment. With excellent staff, a warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent food, what more could we need or want. And if a carvery is what you want, its deck is full of sumptuous cooked beef, chicken, as I only ate those, i don't remember the other available meats. All the vegetables were beautifully cooked, and with stuffing and gravy, it was on with the array of sauces available. The next step was, minding the steps to eat in the restaurant to devour the food. There is an area with no steps, and wheelchair access is available. Talk to a member of staff to arrange. They are most accommodating. We had a beautiful time. Thoroughly recommend.

A great place for Sunday lunch. Good vegetarian/ vegan options (nut roast at the side of a carvery plate pictured). My friend had the brie starter before her meat carvery & the vegan starter option was bruschetta. Big portions, good value. The staff were fantastic! I had taken a birthday cake for my friend and they waited until she had walked away from the carvery to ask me her name so that the staff member bringing her cake out could sing happy birthday to her. Would definitely go again.

Amazing staff atmosphere lovely nothing too much trouble food outstanding and I am a harsh critic can recommend carvery and also had peppercorn chicken definitely worth a try and I guarantee you will go back can’t wait for next visit

We visited The Bridge on Saturday (09/12/23) for a family birthday celebration. There were over 30 of us there and the place had many more parties in for meals. This however by no way took away the quality of service and attention. We were served quickly and with care. The staff were brilliant and took care of our every need as well as making sure that the 'birthday girl' was well looked after. Sorting the individual bills out was seamless and swift and staff were aware and caring regarding my current mobility issues. I can see why the place is busy and it is well worth booking to enjoy what it offers. The warm apple pie was DELICIOUS.
We hope that the staff had chance to take a breath and can enjoy the upcoming Christmas when everyone else has been fed and watered!!
We hope to visit again when we are in the area.

A bump in the road of life drew us here. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere greeted us. Friendly faces and warm chatter took the edge off the evening chill.
We only drank, but the food looked very enticing.
We drank and chatted about the events that had brought us here, attempting to form a strategy.
The only conclusion reached, was that we'd return.

We booked as a large family for our grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary.
As a large party we were very well looked after. Food arrived piping jot and delicious and in relatively the same time so we all ate together.

I had the carvery. Delicious!

Staff were great and welcoming, allowing our elderly diners to enter and exit through the conservatory door. This meant they were able to use their walkers and made the area more accessible.

Absolutely beautiful meals! Staff were so attentive and helpful. Our waitress, who mentioned was very new to the Bridge, did an outstanding job of looking after our table. We did have two coeliac with us and she was more than willing to check what was safe for them to have . Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and fab with the kids. Highly recommend the Bridge for a lovely meal out. Thankyou for a wonderful evening!

Friendly staff, food good, service was goid but diid have to wat for drinks on 2 occasions.
A mix food order ranging from battered cod chicken peppercorn sauce on a bed of mushrooms& stuffing ,carvery & burgers. All in all enjoyed.

Went for a family meal to celebrate my birthday. Party of 17. The service was excellent. The food was beautiful.
Fantastic evening

Visited with friends who live locally on Sunday. The carvery Sunday lunch was excellent. A choice of beef, turkey and ham with a wide selection of vegetables. All perfectly cooked. The meat melted in your mouth. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive and despite the place being busy they served the food quickly and efficiently. All the tables were safely spaced out and it did not feel crowded. We had a lovely meal and would go again if we were in the area. The only problem we had was trying to park in the crowded car park although we did find a space when someone left and the toilets although very clean and well maintained had a slightly puzzling configuration and were not obvious to a new visitor. Only minor points which should not distract from an excellent pub. Make sure you visit but make sure you book first. It is a very popular place and when you visit you can see why.

Had lunch here today with my partners family ,we were a large party who all had the Sunday carvery which at best I would describe as a mediocre meal . I don't think that any of the vegetables had been salted prior to cooking. However I would like to add that the service is friendly in a lovely setting so such a shame that the food isn't up to the same standard

Absolutely amazing food! Been there a few times but today was just amazing, great greatly staff and always willing to go the extra mile to good customer satisfaction! Well worth the travel for a roast dinner! 🤤🤤
