Lovely staff and good food. Has both a vegan and gluten free menu and the friendly staff where fantastic about checking things. The chips where spot on! It felt very nostalgic from the brown seating to the banana milkshake.

Came here for a quick lunch before a visit to Pembroke Castle. Great selection of warm home cooked food - exactly what you need on a chilly day. Cup of tea and a toastie went down a treat

Delicious mega breakfast, fantastic service.
Opened at 9, but door was open a bit earlier, and we were made very welcome even though was early. Lovely view of the garden from the outdoor seating area. Also allowed a little swapping of breakfast items. Fab place.

By far the best fish and chips we've had. Beautiful tasty cod, delicious light and crispy batter and lovely curry sauce! Would highly recommend, what a gem of a place with it's retro charm and friendly staff.

Very welcoming after terrible experience at another local cafe causing myself and my husband to walk out. The ladies showed us heaps of hospitality, the food was freshly cooked and exactly what we wanted. Would definitely go again.

The perfect breakfast. Friendly and efficient family business. I hope they never modernise it. Brown vinyl booths are a step back in time. Combined with delicious, well presented food with lovely views over the common makes this cafe a firm favourite. Lovely history of the original owner, Constance Brown MBE who lived to 102 and was Britain's oldest working woman!

Lovely food and friendly staff. Great family story behind the cafe too. It's been there since 1928. I loved the retro decor too!
