Lovely staff and brilliant food. The Steak Pie was so good. The staff even brought me extra gravy without me asking!

If you’re in the village, well worth a visit

Called on for a coffee and Toasted Teacake which was delicious Really efficient and friendly service so much so that we returned for Lunch .Had a Steak Pie with Mashed Potatoes and Carrots/Peas and a Lasagne with Coleslaw and Salad . We both enjoyed them The Steak pie did not skimp on the Steak and there was a generous amount of the rest .The Lasagne was the best I have tasted in a long while and the salad- for me was just the right amount with a nice dressing on it . The cafe seats about 22 persons .
If we visit Alnwick again we will definitely be back.

A visit to Alnwick with my husband and two children led to a stop off here for lunch. Atmosphere was warm and friendly from the start, with the two young ladies behind the counter doing everything they could to provide a fantastic service with a smile. It's clearly a very popular place as the food sells out quickly and once it's gone it's gone, we had panini's with home made slaw and chips, the kids had lids pizzas with salad and chips. Everything was delicious and, for a southerner, the portions were super generous! I'd really recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Alnwick but be prepared to get in before the rush - the food is that good it will sell out quickly!

Lovely little place serving good homemade food. Hubby loves the pies, just like how our Mums made them. The ladies who work there are lovely, always smiling and cheerful. Pleasant atmosphere.

What a wonderful meal. We had steak pie with chips. It was such a generous serving we could have shared! The steak was tender. The crust was thick. It’s a very small establishment but well worth a visit

Relaxing and pleasant after a walk round Alnwick, and situated just across from the Market Square.
Not "flashy" but spotless and fantastic value.
Great friendly, polite staff, And wonderful home made satisfying food.

Cosy little place the food is mainly homemade and tasty. Prices are very reasonable . I had toasted sandwiches which were tasty and nicely served with a side salad and crisps. Good choice of foods on the menu hot and cold .....however, they do not take cards and there are no customer toilets

A cafe I am happy to keep coming back to in Alnwick. We both went for the full English breakfast this time and it was spot on! Everything that you'd expect from a Northern cafe. The hot lunches are unmissable if you are in the area and the desserts and cakes always look great too. The drinks are good quality teas and coffees and they give you a decent serving as well. Highly recommended, charming place.
