Olive Branch Cafe

Stumbled into The Olive Branch what a find. It was just so good, with very interesting artwork up for sale and the coffee and cakes were excellent. Very friendly staff and we were able to take our dog 🐕 in!

Lovely place to relax in and we loved our visit. Nice!

Pleased to find exactly what we had hoped for after a long walk on a chilling morning. Lunch of delicious homemade soup, bread/cheese scone and a pot of tea.
Whilst quiet when we arrived the cafe soon filled up and seemed very popular with a mix of clients and dog walkers (separate seating 👍🏻).

A lovely cafe, nice coffee and single/double shot choice. Decaff too. Good food menu. Quiet Dog friendly area at the back. More seating than it looks like from the window.

Stopped for light lunch with our dogs, separate quiet area set aside for doggies and humans much appreciated. We had bacon and brie & ham and cheese paninis lovely salad and relish side decent tea and latte. Doggy treats offered as well.

I was visiting Alnwick for the day and managed to get into Olive Branch Cafe for a coffee just as they were closing. The staff were friendly and served me an excellent cappuccino.

We stopped by trying to pass some time and was greeted by the most friendly staff, they were extremely accommodating to us young travellers and our hefty luggage. The food was amazing, and the experience was highly enjoyable! (The hot chocolate was 10/10)
Would definitely recommend and will be returning on our next trip up north!

Great for breakfast.
For four we had two breakfast bangles with smokey bacon, black pudding, cheese and fried egg (best eaten with knife and fork), a sausage sandwich with a fried egg and a straight sausage sandwich. All eaten with enjoyment. Lovely👍

Lovely little cafe serving excellent food. Check the specials board before ordering from the menu. The quiche I had was excellent.

Food was gorgeous. service was great very pleasant and the area for the dogs was great we will be back again

Lovely food. Smoked Black Pudding and tomato quiche was delicious and filling. The cakes looked nice too.

Lovely hot coffee, cake and delicious cheese scone. All served in good time. Really clean establishment including the toilets with plenty of hand sanitizer, hand wipes etc. Nothing to fault in our opinion. Owner gave us great advice about a lovely small town to stop off at on our way home when he happened to see us looking at the map. Really invaluable advice which extended our trip away

A brilliant cafe with great food and cakes. Catered for gluten free, we went twice or rather 3 times in 2 days! Cake was so lovely, did I mention gluten free? There were vegan cakes too.
Friendly welcome and it was pretty much full both days. Definitely get in early for good food and gluten free cake 😁 other cakes available.

We sat outside with two dogs and a baby. The dog bowl of water was much appreciated. Staff were really polite & friendly. The scones were delicious and perfect with a round of hot drinks. Not over priced. We were just passing through otherwise we'd definitely be back!

Delicious lunch with friends. My dietary requirements were more than catered for (dairy free). Staff are delightful

Very nice quiche which was home made with fresh tasty side salad and dips. The coffee was also excellent, locally sourced from a coffee dealer near Berwick. So refreshing to get a cup of coffee that tastes fresh and different.
The ambience within the cafe was also comfortable and relaxing. We will certainly go again and would recommend to others.

Delicious, home made food. The smoked mackerel pate on toast was amazing, the tuna melt toastie was really good, as were the cakes! We had Earl Grey teabread, Blackberry Bakewell slice & carrot cake with lovely hot coffees & they were all really tasty. Highly recommended if you're in Alnwick.
