Missing Bean Abingdon

I love this coffee shop. It may be small but the coffee and food are truly the best I've had in Abingdon. The staff are always lovely, they're welcoming and friendly. The coffee is made well (I've yet to try them all but the latte, chai and flat whites are great). And as well as drinks they have delicious sweet and savoury snacks. You literally can't go wrong with any of them. Their brownies and lemon cake are my favourite. Since the place is small you may not always be able to sit in but if you do it's a good atmosphere and if you don't they also offer takeaway. It's definitely the best coffee I've had in town. They also offer free WiFi if you also want to spend some time working there whilst you eat or drink. As well as that, they have lots of things in the store to buy. This includes coffee beans, merch and coffee accessories including takeaway cups. I definitely recommend Missing Bean Abingdon.

Although small inside, The Missing bean offers a clean and welcoming environment with uber friendly staff.

The coffee is excellent and the sweet treats are fantastic - my daughter is a massive fan of donuts day (Thursdays I think!?).

Really nice staff, very tasty coffee. I had a dirty chai - not on the menu but the customer before me ordered it and it was excellent! I also had a slice of the lemon cake which was tasty, a tiny bit stale but that's my own fault for turning up less than an hour before closing. They also gave me a free baguette as they were due to be binned and that was delicious!

The coffee is very good, I am pleased with their friendly service and atmosphere too. Great location.

My favourite cafe in Abingdon. I love their cream cheese bagels, sourdough bread and flat white coffee. They are very busy so you may need to get a takeaway.

Delicious coffee with attention to detail, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. I was given a loyalty card, which after 8 visits you get a free coffee. It was a beautiful day outside and there weren’t any out door tables so I enjoyed my coffee at the abbey gardens. Definitely coming back again!

Undoubtedly the best coffee spot in Abingdon. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. A very popular spot, so usually always busy and can be difficult to find a table - the best times to get a seat inside are either early or from around 2pm onwards! (It can get chilly in the winter months, as windows are often left open to prevent condensation).
(April 2024 update: the windows are in the process of being replaced, and the door is set to be replaced soon, too!)

A few outdoor seats but plenty inside. Bikes can be left outside. Low wall to perch on for cyclists who want to watch their bikes.

Coffee was very nice. Oat milk, soya options all available. Staff were the highlight being friendly and welcoming. Recommend this place as a stop off. Super nice people.

This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Oxfordshire. Great coffee, the staff are great and the pastries/food has solid versions of all the staples and always a few surprises knocking about. If only they would open a location in Wantage...then the town would have a proper coffee shop and I wouldn't have to travel so far!

Great Mocha and almond croissants. So good that had a 2nd round of both. Those were only topped by the friendly staff. Will be back soon!

I first got coffee from missing Bean before I discovered their coffee shops. They get great bread and donuts from great locally (well localish) providers who I already recommend this means that not only do you get the best coffee but you also get the best accompaniment to go with the coffee what ever your tastes. Great coffee great food!

My favourite coffee shop! Firstly the coffee is just consistently perfect, so much flavour and a massive step up from the usual high street big name stuff. Cakes, sandwiches and pastries also very good. And Thursday doughnuts are just the best!

A great independent coffee shop chain! Unique and refreshing inside. Such lovely staff who made us feel very welcome and a great selection of drinks and food. The coffee is fantastic and it is clear to see the staff truly care about their products and service.

The missing bean does the BEST coffee. So much nicer than Costa or Starbucks. Avoid the chains and go here instead 😊 they also do great sandwiches/ bread/ cakes.

An absolute delight of a coffee shop. I am a speciality coffee afficionado and this was superior to anything I've had in Abingdon or Oxford. Worth the trip, and grab a pastry too!

Perfect! Coffee so good that my tea-drinking wife actually enjoyed a latte. And, the cakes are amazing. Staff were friendly and smiley, even at the end of their day, and its dog friendly too.
