Excellent food. Really nice to walk to the cafe from Grassington via Hebden and then back via Linton.

Just discovered this great little cafe. Open all year Thursday to Sunday each week evidently. Good coffee and great food. Definitely worth a look. Proper cycle parking is a bonus. Updated February 2024 - still open end of the week, closed from Monday to Wednesday. Excellent choice of cakes. Limited but good hot options. Very pleasant staff. Recommended.

A welcome find during a snowy walk. We were greeted by the amazing aroma of warming cinnamon wafting from the kitchen. A great selection of home baked goods on offer; we chose delicious and generous portions of homemade soup, Italian bread and cake. The coffee was really good and the ambience lovely with pleasant music (no Christmas tunes thank goodness, it's too early!), a log burner and nice decor. A good selection of local gifts too. Loved it! Thank you! ☺

Although a long journey from Manchester, yet the sunny weather made it win win situation. Although parking is a bit dear. However, the overall experience was great. The depth of water is walkable. So the whole family enjoyed. The toilets and nearby cafe closes at 1700 Hrs so plan the trip accordingly.

The 'fatboy' is the best sausage roll over ever had. If the lemon drizzle was any more moist it would be a fluid. Really really good spot for a brew and a bite.

This cafe is a great place to bring children and is dog friendly and this place also offers many pies, sandwiches and cakes and the staff are friendly and the food is homemade so overall I will definitely recommend

A beautiful place in a beautiful village. Fantastic coffee and cakes. There is a food menu available. You pay little more but is al homemade and delicious, worth every penny.

Great spot by the river in a picturesque Yorkshire village. Great for dogs. Toilets on site.

Lovely cake and coffee served by friendly staff. As the name suggests it is close to the river and is also convenient for parking and has plenty of covered and outdoor seating. Also has free WiFi which can be handy as the whole village seems to be in a signal dead zone, if that matters to to you!

Beautiful place with lovely walks up the river, and somewhere to have a picnic right by the river. The pub is very expensive, but great location for a cool lager on a hot day.

Best coffee and food in the area. The savouries are always reliable and delicious. Today also had cake which was fab!

Also… Rachel has started making AppletreeWicks - scented candles - they have wonderful scents. On sale in the shop. Bought a couple as pressies for friends. And one for myself!

Last time I visited this place was a kiosk with outdoor seating. It's now a kiosk style serving indoors with both indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely range of snack food, sweet and savoury, including veggie and vegan options. Was a welcome stop at the end of a Wharfedale Walk.

Only made one visit so far after a frosty day hike but the welcome was warm, the homemade treacle tart lovely and the outdoor seating very adequate for the time of year. I'll certainly be back.

It’s a BBQ spot by the stream with parking, ideal for picnics and just chilling by the riverbank. We went prepared with all the BBQ stuff, snacks for kids and drinks!
Can easily spend 3-6 hours there.

Toilets are also there.

A fantastic sausage roll and vegan sandwich in a xool place with good service. What more could you want?

Always lovely here, great location, great food, great coffee, great staff. I particularly enjoy riding here during the week when it's a bit quieter. 😊

Very much enjoyed the visit. Very good coffee and delicious cakes, and a friendly and welcoming place. Just what you need to break a drive, walk or ride.

I really like this cafe. The food and coffee are really good. Bacon sandwich in a chibatta roll was brilliant. On this visit we had a pizza and were equally impressed. We would highly recommend trying this cafe we certainly will again. There is a small reasonable car par as well and outdoor seating. We had hoped to stroll by the river but even at 8pm on a Friday evening Burnsall was very busy and noisy and messy which disappointed us. Next time we will have to think carefully about the time and day of the week we visit.

Superb coffee and cakes in a very tasteful setting. Recommend the caramel flapjack and Guinness Gingercake.

Hands down one of the best bacon sandwiches you'll ever have.
